Instructions
- Step 1: Blow up balloons Blow up and tie your balloons.
- TIP: Blow up a variety of different balloons.
- Step 2: Tie yarn around knot Tie green yarn around the knots in the balloons.
- Step 3: Make paper mache mix Make a paper mache mixture by combining 1 cup flour with 1 cup water.
- Step 4: Tear up newspaper Tear the newspaper into thin strips.
- Step 5: Dip Dip the newspaper strips into the paper mache mix and then wrap the strips around the balloons.
- Step 6: Dry Tie the balloons to a hanger with yarn and let them dry.
- Step 7: Paint Paint the balloons with red tempera paint. Once dry, glue on a green leaf cut out of construction paper.
- FACT: Apples are fat, sodium, and cholesterol free and have approximately 5 grams of fiber.
