Hi, I’m Jessica, and I’m going to show you a little bit about circular knitting.
First of all, the difference between circular knitting and flat knitting is that in circular knitting, you’re knitting around and around and around, and you’re never stopping to turn and go back and work the wrong side like you would do in flat knitting.
So in circular knitting, there are four different ways to do it. There are two traditional methods. One is to knit on a circular needle like this. One is to work around and around on double pointed needles like this.
And then there are two other methods. One is to work around and around on two circular needles, one for the front, one for the back.
And then the last one is to work on a long circular needle, this is 40 inches, and this technique is called magic loop.
So in the following videos, I’m going to be demonstrating how to do each of these specifically.
