An easy way to update your home decor is to make these no-sew pillows. I’m going to show you how right now. You’ll need a couple of things. First, a pillow form. Today we’re using a 20 by 20 inch pillow form that you can buy at any craft store, home decor store. You’ll need fabric. You want to try and stick to a lightweight cotton fabric. Quilting stores have a great selection of really cute prints. You’ll need something that is called “heat bond.” It is an adhesive that’s activated by heat. We’re going to use this to finish off our seams. You’ll need something to cut with and an iron. Pillow forms come in lots of different sizes, so you’ll be sure to find something that meets exactly your needs. This here is a 20 by 20 inch, but they come in shapes. You can get rectangles. You can get giant squares, hearts, anything you’re looking for. When you’re going to the fabric store to pick out your fabric, for our 20 by 20 inch pillow we need about a yard and a half of fabric. If you bring your pillow form with you to the fabric store, you can just ask someone there and they’ll be more than happy to help you figure out exactly how much fabric you need.
