Now that we have the hem of our t-shirt threaded with our tie that we made we can finish the back.
So, all you want to do is take both ties in one hand and cinch the bottom. Just go ahead and squish all that fabric down as tight as you can so it looks something like this.
And then, you can take your safety pin off, put it to the side and tie a knot in these two ties to secure it.
So, I like to do a square knot which is left over right. Pull. And then you’ll take the tie in your right hand and put it over the left. Pull tight and you are done.
If you’re a little nervous about this knot and you feel like you need a little extra security you can go ahead and do that again. Left over right and right over left. And we have our t-shirt tote bag.
And throw some stuff inside and be on our way.
