Find me at Paes164.com (p-a-e-s-164.com) My Facebook is facebook.com/paes_art. So next up is the letter N. I’m gonna start off with a bubble letter throw up and run it right through. Just kinda come in and whip it out, you know, you wanna get it nice and bubbly quick, typically with fat caps. Run it through and doin’ the 3D’s, a lot easier not having to fill ’em in, but we’ll come through with a skinny and just outline the 3D and kinda whip back and forth, shade it up. You get through a couple of these letters and you’ll move fast. Alright blockbusters, coming up to the letter N, keeping it in that frame of the block, just gonna come and rock this out. Start up what a nice sketch, both outer pieces of the N. You know outside of that block, you can really kinda stretch the letter out, however you want, however wide you need. I’m just coming in with the same color that we sketched it out in, whip back and forth, fill it in. Making sure that you’re not taking your time and slowing down in corners too much to create too many drips. So, just come back with an outline you know, and followed by a little bit of a, some 3D action definitely makes it pop. Same thing, just kinda whipping back and forth to fill in. The pressure the paint doesn’t stop when you put your finger on the nozzle so it’s not gonna slow down. You just gotta be on top of it to avoid drips. Then you always come back with that bright color, in this case yellow, and we just come and inner outline the letter and make it pop, also known as an inner gel, boo yah, blockbuster letter N. So now, we’re gonna come with the wild style N, basically take our same N and twist off the corners and give it a newer, cooler look. Just kinda have fun with the letter. It’s always good to kinda sketch your letters out with either the extra paint you’re wasting, or the same color you’re shading with. Switch out my colors a little bit, change up the fill, gonna come around and fade this yellow around. And again with the fill-in, just have fun. Do whatever patterns you want. You’ll be kinda surprised after you’re done inner gelling and out gelling how cool it will look. K, time for our outline, and we’ll do the 3D coming off the right this time, 3D done. Inner gelling our letter, inner outlining all the lines except for portions that overlap. That’s why we’re not closing these in. We really just try and make it appear like it’s slapped over the bottom of the N. Outer outline, also the outer gel, give it a good, clean, bright outer outline. Boom, the letter N, wild style.

Find me at Paes164.com (p-a-e-s-164.com) My Facebook is facebook.com/paes_art. Nice little throwy ‘Z’ here, just in case your nickname is Zorro. A little bit of 3D, it’s kinda just a mirror image or your letter, just a couple inches over, work our way around and get the 3D filled in. Switch that up, to a blockbuster. So we’re just going to come with a very squared off letter, just like I said it’s a block-buster, fill it in with the same color you sketched it out in. So we’re working our way up filling this in, making our hand movements very quick with this skinnier outline we want to make sure we don’t have drip build up by going too slow. But, using a lot fatter tip, be able to fly through that a lot quicker, get more coverage, but you still want to come back with your outline tip to come and outline the letter. Definitely a good block buster, a good graffiti piece needs to have good clean lines so when people see it, even though they might not always be able to read it they’re definitely going to know it’s done very well and people you want to read it will definitely be able to read it. I’m going to come back around, one more last color, and inner outline everything. You can actually come and do some of the same cracks I did wit the outline with the inner outline, and there you have it, there’s a block buster ‘Z’. And, a little more wild style ‘Z’, we’ll take that same base shape of the ‘Z’ and we’ll twist it up. Going to work a little pattern of rectangles, a little basic fill in. Just come back and outline, again cleaning up all those little spits of paint and inconsistent lines of your sketch, a nice clean outline at the end and tighten everything up. Come through with a little bit of 3D. A nice solid look for our letter ‘Z’. Take the same pink and inner outline, inner gel, sometimes if doing some of these longer lines is, too hard, just kind of feel the line out before you do it kind of just work the motion of your hand so you can just follow through and have it done in one shot nice and clean. The last thing we wanna do to our ‘Z’ is an outer outline. Now you have it, wild style letter ‘Z’.

Find me at Paes164.com (p-a-e-s-164.com) My Facebook is facebook.com/paes_art. The letter X, we’ll do a throw up of that. So we’ll just kind of paint around kind of get your base letter up. Then your 3D. Using a fat cap a lot of times will eliminate you having to fill in a 3D you can get keep the tip further away from the wall. So there you go, it’s the letter X. Okay so now we’re going to do the letter X as a block buster. Start off with this gold and kind of kick it down. Using that same color, I’ll come and fill it in. Followed by, using this blue and outlining it. It’s a good clear outline around your block buster. Nice it sharp. It will make it that much more visible from a distance. A little bit of 3D coming off and then we’ll finish that up with taking the skinny and doing an inner outline. Boom there’s your blockbuster X. Now we’re going to do an X as a wild style. Taking the same shape you know again one know one of those letters that you can only get so much done as far as shape without it making look like something else. I’m going to add on pieces to it, that are going to equal out giving it a more complex look. So I’m just kind of building off different shapes. This yellow, this silver will be separated with the outline. Take this purple and outline it, we add our 3D to the X. We’re not going to want to add it to all parts of the silver, it really needs to stay outside of the letter itself. We come back with this pink here, I’m going to inner outline the X, and then only inner outline the outside portion of the yellow pieces but only behind it so it looks like it’s popping up from behind. So let’s work our way around, there’s the inner outline and we’ll use this green to do an outer outline. You can probably even add a little more Xs building off that outer fill. Do that same whip shading where you are pointing down and pulling away from the wall. How about that, wild style letter X.

“About the expert : PAES164

My name is Paes164 and I’m a professional artist out of Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Started art, career-wise, with graffiti. I’ve been painting since a teenager, and I’ve been doing it for 20 years now. When I was 19 that kind of got me in the tattoo scene through my graffiti art and now it’s full circle — now i’m able to do my art in any type of medium that I want. When I was youger we were painting a lot of trains and there was another Paes in Albuquerque doing just as much work as I was doing, and I had to define myself. So i took my Boy Scout troop number when i was a kid and added it: Paes164. That just stuck and it got to a point that I was doing so much that it was time for me to stop changing my name cause everybody knew who I was for what i was doing. And at that time that was it all about. Find me at Paes164.com (p-a-e-s-164.com) My Facebook is facebook.com/paes_art. Other than that you can Google my name — I try to keep everything out there in the open. My cell phone is easy to reach. If you’re not in Colorado, Im all over the United States all year long and just about every cool major city and we’re in New York right now, so catch me here.”

Find me at Paes164.com (p-a-e-s-164.com) My Facebook is facebook.com/paes_art. Okay, here we go. Our next throw up letter’s gonna be the ‘w’. I’m gonna go ahead and start and whip it over. Right, you guys like those sound effects. Just like that, you got a nice ‘w’, something nice and quick to get up. Follow it a little bit of 3D, there you go, ‘w’. Okay, now we’re gonna do the letter ‘w’ and we’re gonna do it in a blockbuster style. Something very simple, very self explanatory, it’s made of blocks and it’s something to get everybody’s attention. You know, you see big areas that you are allowed to paint and you want your name to be seen from afar then a really cool blockbuster style would be what you want to do. So if you’re doing something big and quick, you’re not gonna be able to get it done the way you want, so you definitely need a nice outline to…which is what I’m doing now in a much darker color. So, we’ll take one more color, finish off any with blockbuster with a really nice outer outline. Okay, next we’re gonna do a wildstyle ‘w’. Isn’t that perfect, wildstyle! So, let’s take some of this silver, keeping the essence of the ‘w’ alive, we just kind of bend and tweak it. Let me fill this in. Using that same color I sketched it out in. Okay, got that nice silver fill done. Come back get another color, add a little more fill to it. So I’m just coming down to create that fade and starting with the tip of my can and whipping it out. Just to make those points look super sharp, I’m gonna cut over them. Im gonna actually just hit it with a line and then i’ll just cut over the existing paint to give it a cleaner, sharper point. Come through, make this nice dark purple, work my way around. Got that outline out of the way, let’s add a little bit of 3D. 3D done, let’s follow that with an inner outline, work my way all the way round the letter. And last, i’ll take this light purple and do an outer outline. Bam, just like that, wildstyle ‘w’.

Find me at Paes164.com (p-a-e-s-164.com) My Facebook is facebook.com/paes_art. Next letter up, the letter V. We’re gonna start off with a throw-y. So, we just come off one end. We want to get a good nice bubbly letter, its kinda hard w ith such a straight one but this will work. Right after doing that, just a little bit of a 3D, definitely makes the letter pop. Work your way, fill up the whole 3D all the way around. Boom. The letter V. Next, would be the blockbuster so, just keep it in that box-y frame. Just as simple as it sounds. Taking that same color we used to sketch it in. And again, using a fatter tip, you would get more coverage faster but you definitely want to keep your hand movement steady, so there’s no paint build up. Follow that up with an even darker color for the outline. A good typical outline tip, will have no problem, doing the trick. Taking the last color and creating an inner outline. There you go, a blockbuster V. So, about the last little trick is going to be us doing a wild style V. So maybe we’ll just bend it around. Same color I used to sketch it, I’m going to fill it in. We’ve got the fill of our letter done. Come through, and do some fill in. You know, the fill in is just a matter of patterns and colors and whatever you fancy. Take it as far as you can do on a flannel shirt pattern inside your fill. We are working our way through the outline of our V. A lot of times you’ll see graffiti artists when they’re doing big burners or big murals, they’ll kinda replace certain letters in their name in their piece with pictures, just because of the lack of what you can do with it and I would say a V is definitely one of those letters that can be replaced. Let’s say, its all about standing ten feet back and taking a look at the piece and reading what it says. So we got, just a little pattern of yellow’s skipping through and I’m gonna inner outline it now. Again, sometimes when you get into these long lines, you don’t want to go off, especially if you have a really complex fill and your hand dips off and doesn’t get the line right you end up having to fix up a whole area. So, if you have to, kinda pre-fill out the line before you do it. It just makes it easier for you to get it sprayed on right. Let’s finish this V up with a outer outline or, outer gel. Well, just like that, wild style V.

Just a real big bubble style, about as simple as it gets yet everybody knows this graffiti when they see it. Little bit of a 3D. All the way around. And our bubble letter U is done. So, let’s do it blockbuster style. And kinda keep everything nice and squared off. Everything we sketched with this pink, I’ma use the same color – fill it in. Followed by some outlining. Again, same outline tip. Nice and clean. And a little bit of 3D. Finish that off, taking another bright color, and doing an inner outline or inner gel. And you are done with the blockbuster. Now, real quickly I’ll be able to kinda change to something little more wild style by adding a couple pieces to it. So in essence, it’s still the same letter but we’re just gonna bend out pieces a little more. Take a little bit of a different color – give it some inside fill. Complete it with an outline – finish off with a little more of the 3D. Now onward with an inner outline. And finally – the outer outline. And it’s always a custom after you get the wild style U done to do a b-boy stance.

So we’re going to kind of bring it up and just whip it around. Really any shape is going to go as long as it’s kind of bubbly and runs none stop, would be a good throw up. Just knocking out a 3D once again, we’re just coming and filling in. Hit all corners, a nice saucy S. Next is a blockbuster S, keeping everything in frame. Just kind of go ahead and give us our base lines. Just take it over, and get the sketch done. Using the same color I’m going to fill it in, work my way around. Got a really good basic outline tip, to get a nice clean outline, followed by a 3D. Blowing all the paint a little bit, gives a little build up and helps keep it from dripping. Inner outline, also the innergel, makes this S pop out big time. Boo ya. Ok, so finally with the S we’re going to do a wildstyle S, so let’s check this out. Taking that same shape, just twisting it around. Get that sketch done, come back with the same color and fill it in. Add a little bit of color just inside the letter, just to give it a better look. Just needs some bubbles. Keeping all that color as you know, in a brighter tone, and knocking it out with a darker outline. Just to make it pop. Once the outline’s done, going to add a little bit of 3D. Next is the innergel, outline around what’s existing. Alright, one more step, would be the outer outline, or the outergel. Bam, wildstyle S.

Next up, the letter R. We’d kind of get up here and just kind of whiff our little throw up around, basically just like that. Very simple, bubbly letters. Followed by a little bit of 3D . There’s your bubble letter, throw up or also known as a throwy. Next we’re going to do is a block buster. Get our base outerline of the R roughed out and fill it in. Remember to move quickly filling in. Especially if your using a fatcat and work your way through to avoid drips. Come back with some clean outline and whenever you’re outlining you’re actually coming right up against the overlapping the edge of the line from the previous back color with your outline and that’s what kind of tightens and crispens everything up. Add on a 3D, a little bit of outer outlining or inner gelling for our blockbuster R. And keeping it still close to the same shape, we’ll do a little wild style R. Wild styles are just something to defining your graffiti as something more complex. And of course, be more stylized so it’s really up to you what your preference going to be on what little trinkets and curves you’re going to add to your lettering. We’ll also come through and add a little fill in. To pull in my can away from the wall as I go is all you need to do to create that fade. Now we’ll add some outline. Outline always brings the letter out, adding a little bit of 3D again to give it that blocky look and make that letter stand out. You can even go and add extra colors to the 3D to make that pop out individually. Got the outline and everything done, so we go to the inner gel, also an inner outline with even brighter color. Alright. And our last step, an outer outline, use this bright green is kind a get around the whole letter. Boom. Radical wild style R.”

Last but not the least inner outlining the T on our blockbuster to make it pop.Letter T.At last we take the same T and give it more of a wild-style look by more bending of the letter, filling it in.Now with some work inner detail in the fill,so maybe some little lime green stars. Now we want to outline the T,nice and crisp, once over and a little bit of 3-D coming right from the bottom. After all the fill in outlines are done,we are going to come in with a bright color and give the T an inner outline and make it pop. Finally, outer outline using the lime green because it matches with the stars inside the letter,to look cool.Letter T, wild-style, that’s T-Rex,T-Lo

“Graffiti Art: Flaring for Shadowing

My name is Paes164 and I’m a professional artist. I’ve been painting since a teenager, and I’ve been doing it for 20 years now. Find me at Paes164.com (p-a-e-s-164.com) My Facebook is facebook.com/paes_art. It’s all about the angle of your tip. Right down here, and spray a golden type glow around that purple. Might have to come back later and cut into it to crispen it up. But unlike spraying it straight on, totally at an angle, almost kinda right at your finger, almost to the wall. So that the spray that fans out, fans down and against the wall. Come in, maybe even a little slower, so you get enough paint, and you see a nice fade. Kinda dust over it a little bit, help that a little bit out. And back to cutting. You want a clean cut, it will take care of all that. That’s a good fade right there. A lot of times, fading and stuff, it’s good for just writing your name in tags. It’s all about your wrist movement. It’s just locking that wrist, and popping it up and down, and not using your arm to complete the letter. So we’re just gonna take it in a tag, and keep our wrist locked up. Just a little outline tip…just fade it up. Say, if you wanted to create a nice little glow of a star, sparkling off your piece, maybe come out, fade that little circle. iii about that far away from the wall, and just whip it away, whip it away. Your arm is definitely gonna continue making a motion past the point of your spray. So, get that done, maybe a little spray in front. Another good flaring technique for your graffiti piece. And, you know, just like your different colors that you want to build up and stuff. When it comes to flaring, keep it in the area that you need it. And if you’re gonna overlap something, make sure it’s in an area of the piece that you can overlap. And come back and cut into it fixed, without having to repair the whole piece. So there you have it, there’s some graffiti how to’s. Thank you. Howcast, and I’m Paes 164. Peace Out. “

The only technique about layering is basically letting the previous color below a chance to dry and if your coming into corners, give yourself enough room to come back into. So as I come and layer this inner gel, I’m kinda overlapping the green and the blue, the outline. I’ve definitely gave it at least 10-15 minutes for it to dry. So that the layer of paint sticks evenly. And left myself room to cut into. Just give it that nice clean, tight look. It’s really as simple as that. Not too technical. It’s just remembering not to get too far ahead of yourself and let the paint dry. And to stat building and working your colors out.

My name is Paes164 and I’m a professional artist. I’ve been painting since a teenager, and I’ve been doing it for 20 years now. Find me at Paes164.com (p-a-e-s-164.com) My Facebook is facebook.com/paes_art. Here we go, we’re going to go through some tips with you today starting with this letter H right here for how cast. I kinda got some pieces cutting over and I want to shadow them up so just creating a little bit of red, maybe mixing in a little bit of this yellow, to get kind of a warm fuzz around the area that this piece that whips off comes around. Now you can see I’m actually cutting into the paint trimming out what I initially painted and overlaps with the red. Filling it in. You get the clean line to give the shadow I’m looking for. Once again, I’m just coming through and trimming it out. I’m coming in and trimming off straight lines. It’s about as easy as that. You want to get into corners, you always don’t want to forget that when you trim that corner out that your lines are still going to fall into the same place but it’s going to be a tight corner. completely overlap it, make a little bit of a mess, because now it’s going to come back through and cut it. Once one way, then once the other. Do those two lines first and then come fill in. Don’t worry about filling it in until you’ve actually cut the sharp corner that you want. And now you didn’t make the mistake of leaving a gap and having to make the line fatter or just not getting it clean and cut and waiting your time. I’m going to run through this and do some more cuts, and tightening up this shadow and then we’ll come back and show you some more techniques.Again, it’s all about preplanning each cut and knowing where your paints going to line up and you shouldn’t have a problem being on point every time. Spray paint tips no matter how skinny are not going to get a long slender line or edge against something. So much lack paint brushing and just having to work the paints together, your just taking your paint brush can and creating the cuts. Sharp, clean lines to give it a much nicer look.

First off sometimes you might be painting in an area that you need to go heavy with the paint. But key blurring is there you can end up building up enough paint that you have to drip. Best to do is to blow on it. This point you have already messed up what you were going to do. So to stop it before it does anymore damage is what you need. Come back previous color you know give it enough time to dry and just wipe it back out. Catching your drip keeping your eye opened on all the paints build up and try not to make it happen its going to be the best way to avoid them and once your there only thing to do is stop is just blow on and take the finger and smush it out before it gets out of control and cross this over different colors where you will end up having this fix all sorts of stuff and cleaning it up the previous distinct color. Sometimes drips could somewhat work good in your piece maybe across the bottom where they just run all the way down the wall but ultimately just keeping the paint of then taking your time and paying attention to how the paint is building up on the wall would keep you away from crazy drips. Another good point for drips is you are going to be doing tight corners tight details don’t use fat caps just stay with the outlines so everything sprays a little thinner and is nice and clean and avoid drips that way also. Come back then with that silver not to ride out.

Ok so now i’m gonna use this arrow here to kind of demonstrate some 3D, we really gotta pick what direction you want your 3D to fall or lean towards so imma bring it just right down, left and bottom. Pull off, same direction, all the way around and we’ll come back in and fill this in, couple of tips on 3D’s is, definitely use colors that are complementing to the color your using for your 3D to highlight, that’s always gonna give it more depth and always kinda do your 3D before you do your final outline of your piece. It’s better to have, if your doing the type of mural, that your lettering is gonna have an outline, that your using that outline to clean up the line in between the 3D and in this case arrow itself, so put back to the color, I got this dark purple going on, so i’m just gonna go and fade in, some of this light purple, right in the center area of this part of the 3D, this bar of it, i’m all the way up and right up in here, fade that up, holding the can a little bit away from the wall. So as you can see the 3D’s popping out and lot of that’s already over lapping the green, thats why we do the outline afterwards, take that outline and use it to clean up. Here you have it, a 3D that’s kind of falling off to the left of it, very simple to do, its all about keeping everything in the same direction and there you have it.

Find me at Paes164.com (p-a-e-s-164.com) My Facebook is facebook.com/paes_art. Ok, the next letter up is the letter Q. We are going to start off with a nice bubbly throw up. Kind of come in, just as simple a that. Nice 3D with some nice shading. Fill in the 3D. And that is something quick on the street big letter “Q”. Take it up a little step and we are going to do a blockbuster now. Keep everything just straight at real boxy look just as simple as the “O” was. Just adding that little kick off for the “Q”. Use the same color I sketched it in just go to whip through, shade it up making sure I not going to slow that the paint build up and drips. Now we will out line our blockbuster “Q” Add a bit of 3D kind of coming off the left of the letter. Get that looking good. Finish it using a brighter color creating an inter outline. There you have it a blockbuster letter “Q”. Basically, Obviously keeping the same shape of the “Q”. Maybe kicking that a littler crazier. Building up same stuff on the corners. Now once you get these letter stacked against each other building up your name and what it is trying to spell out. All these little cuts and corners and add on to each letter defiantly create a whole nother piece that looks crazier when Its is done. Maybe take that color half way up maybe switch color. As I change one color to the next. Kind of pull in my can of spray paint away from the wall as I work down just Give it a long nice even fade. Do a bit of outline. Got a nice germen outline tip on here. Give it that cool clean about as thick as your thumb line. Now I will come with this darker purple outline everything nice and clean. Then start working my 3D in now for a inter outline. Kind of seeing the inter outline leaving a gap as arrows are kind of over lapping little bit so the maybe come in here and do a couple of these things. How about that. Now a outer outline. There you have it. Wild Style letter Q.

Find me at Paes164.com (p-a-e-s-164.com) My Facebook is facebook.com/paes_art. Next we’re going up to the letter P. Gonna start off with a little throwy. Lets give it one sweep over. Boom! It’s really just again keeping it nice and simple. Nice and chubby. Nice and quick when we’re out painting this style of letter. Little bit of 3D and a little bit of fill and there you go letter P bubble style. K next we’re going to take the P and do a blockbuster style. It’s real simple. Nice and big. Just always keeping the letter in the frame of the block. Do a quick sketch, come back with the same color you used to sketch with. Fill in. Got that base block lined out. Come in a do a clean outline. We’ll come in and do a couple little cracks and knock out an inner outline also the inner gel and actually come and run against those crack lines and then continue on with the inner outline of the letter. Boom! Letter P blockbuster. Okay next up the wild style P. Lets see where we’re going to take it. You do some much with these letters. It’s really up to you. Just a matter of what your style develops to. Got a rough sketch down. Fill it in. Work my way all the way around. Come in with some other yellows and give it some cool little highlights. Or actually going to build off some pieces. You know just adding little lips and stuff and I will define them more with the outline. Begin with a darker color. After the outline come straight down off the corners that are open. Create a 3D. Got that wrapped up. Let’s do some inner outlining. You know skinny’s great for inner and outlining, outlining your piece and getting the details in. Just about the only time you really want to break out a fat cap is with those big bubbly letters and of course you know anything big you want to get done quick, but just as far as the fill: German outlines, McClarens, New York outlines. All of those look great to get the job done. And with an outer outline I’ll be done. Boom! Little wild style P for Paes. Isn’t that so precious.

Find me at Paes164.com (p-a-e-s-164.com) My Facebook is facebook.com/paes_art. So on to the next letter going to letter O, going to start off with a throw up bubble letters, can’t get more simpler than this, obviously going to start with a base so, so maybe you know, draw something different on the inside just to change it up, add you 3D fill it in. And obviously the inside of that O, it can change with the image you want to put in it or you can just make it like a little doughnut and booyah. Next we are going to take it to the block buster and this is simple as throwy was, want to come through create a box, maybe even stretch it out at the bottom a little bit complete the sketch of an O. Come through and fill it in keeping in mind the slow you are the more drifts you will have, doesn’t have to be filled as solid you are going to clean it up with your new outline. So let’s come with the outline nice and clean, well add a little bit of 3D to that and finally inner outline also been called an inner gel just kind of helps find the letter and give it the graffiti look we want, boom, block buster O. So next up is going to be wild style O, O is putting it back to the category of one of those letters that are just kind of hard to really tweak out but with a couple of little add on’s it all takes a piece on both ends and add a little piece that pops off, make it a little chubby on the ends, maybe pass a little air on the side, take some lighter purple play around with the filler a little bit it’s a little faddy and I will just whoop off the paint down and some against the wall and fading it away, to give it that faded look . Move on to outline a section of the color a little bit will come back with our inner gel with a really bright color. Add a little bit of 3D in the same color as the outline, now for some inner outlining. Leaving only the spots that under lap the outline. Now we got the inner gel done then at last we now outline our O with the outer gel with the dusty pink . There you have it wild style O perfect for a nice numeral

Find me at Paes164.com (p-a-e-s-164.com) My Facebook is facebook.com/paes_art. Let’s start off with the throw-up, also known as the bubble letter. It’s a little more complex with M, so you’re not gonna get that non-stop line that you want. Still you want to tackle most of that letters as quick as you can. So we’ll do a top and we’ll work our way around, same thing as always, your 3D and your fill. We got our letter M, right on the money. OK. Now we’re ready for a block buster M. We gonna start off with skinny cap, nice blocky, squared off both sides of the outer parts of the M, drop right back in and sketch in the center. Fill it in. Better make sure too, that you’re quick with your whipping back and forth as you fill in the pieces if you were to come at these corners a little slower you get build up and get drips. So just a real quick whip back and forth work your way all the way up again not too worried about how nice and filled it is because we are going to be cleaning it up with the outline and re-outline my block buster add my 3D, then it’s just time and time again a very clean inner outline or inner gel is what sets the letter off. OK. Wild style M, getting a little more creative on it starting with our base sketch we’re still taking the elements of the M, not really going too far from it and just adding on to it as you can see. So I’m gonna bend in both ends and fill it in. Add a couple of designs Outline is done. You can add a little 3D coming off the bottom. Really what you’re doing is just finding every point of each corner of the letter, just dropping the line straight down a couple of inches and that’s where you’re shadowing points off of. Boom! 3D done! Two more steps. Starting with our inner gel, and our outer gel also known as the outer outline, seal into deal Boom wild style letter M, there you go.

We use this blue, get ourselves a good starting point to do our thrown up and work ourselves all over around followed with 3D.Little bit of fill and our “L” is just about done.with that being our throw-up “L” we ‘re gonna taking it up in action to our blockbuster.Again keeping in a blacky frame of mind, blockbusters are always a lot of fun too.and 3D are blockbuster.Last but not least, our inner gel.And if ‘L’ is the first letter you are watching, the inner gel is the inner outline of the letter of the original outline.ooh thats like a watermelon ‘L’ lastar ‘L’.can go with their initial shape are about ‘L’ and again building up alternative shapes covering its tip with different blue.severe and darker heel at the top and as i’m coming to the original blue again i’m just fading at the tip and pulling away from the wall as i work my way down.its gonna be a nice and smooth easy fade and will finish coloring.we got our base’L’done.it has some patterns for the inside, create it as many u want. its kind of giving some bouncy lines but any pattern and all definitely looks cool.Outline done,eh lets take 3D to the left,to little highlight to the 3D,u know kind of working on the dark purpose on the purple and doing the same technique of just fading it.

Montana has hundreds of colors to choose from and recently the last couple of years shock paint, iron lack, fresh paint, jeez there’s quite a bit. All of them are really geared towards graffiti art, so a lot of that’s like the pressure of the can, how good the quality of paint is inside, and just the variety of colors. You know, going to the local hardware store and getting paint, ya know, isn’t going to cut it nowadays. With the art you see on the walls is definitely done with specific paint for graffiti and that’s all easy to find and all out there. Ya know google your town. If you’re in a big city more than likely you’re going to have a shop that sells it or an art place that’s gonna have it and if you’re in a small town then you gotta get online and do some ordering.

Find me at Paes164.com (p-a-e-s-164.com) My Facebook is facebook.com/paes_art. Tagging is just the act of vandalism in which you sign your name on what you feel appropriate, which could be anything. Some graffiti artists like myself, I’m older now and have children, so I’m not going to paint on schools and churches and I’m not gonna… If I was going to do something like that, I’m not going to go pick on maybe a single business owner that can’t afford to go clean up the mess I make but just about anything city or state or anything else, you know, that’s pretty much free reign. Tagging is just writing your name. You know, a lot of graffiti, not only with a name that explains who that person is, it’s a style too, you know. For instance, there could be a couple of other Paeses but when you see my work you know exactly who I am. And the rest are just toys. Who and so on is fake, so [laughs]. But yeah, tagging is just writing your name, you know. It’s just getting up… When people say “tagging,” it’s definitely just tagging, writing your name, and then when they say “bombing,” that goes back to blockbusters and throw-ups and stuff on a bigger scale. You know, you bombed it, you completely covered what you were gonna do.

Find me at Paes164.com (p-a-e-s-164.com) My Facebook is facebook.com/paes_art. Lets start off with the letter K, do a throw up and here we go. Start off with a straight line, work our way up, over, and then kinda give it a little kick. Booyah. A throw-up. Followed by 3D, with a little bit of fill. And our letter k, bubble letter, is definitely rocked out. You can also take some of the inner gels and outer gels tips with the blockbusters and wild styles and apply them to letters like this but again, y’know this type of graffiti is just really based off getting up on the street and getting your name as big as possible and fast and doing it non-stop. How about a blockbuster letter K? Just like any other letter, keeping the frame of the letter in a box shape so that it can just follow in suit with all the rest. Get your outline done using the same color. Come and fill. Again, you gotta fat cap? You’ll cut your time in half. Move on with the outline, followed by 3D, and an inner outline. K’s a good letter to play with so we’re gonna go ahead and do the wild style. Get a little creative with it. Got that fill done. Do a little bit of a design inside. Once again, I’m just kinda coming through, doing some short fades where you just kinda, gently press on the tip and whip the paint out. As it’s on the wall, whip it back. Very simple can control. Just keep in mind that the fill you do and the colors that you use in it don’t clash with your outline. Keep them all bright or if the outline is going to be bright, keep them all dark. Come through and outline the piece. Nice clean outline. And again, your 3D can go any direction you want it to just make sure its continuous throughout the piece. Got our 3D done. Follow through with a inner outline. Inner outline just being, known as the inner outer gels of the piece, and definitely what gives it that graffiti look. And finally, our outer outline. Once again, when doing your outer outline, if you’re doing a complete piece. This outer outline goes around the outside of the piece. Oh, and there you go. The letter K, little bit spicy.
