How to Draw a J in Graffiti

Transcript

“My name is Paes164 and I’m a professional artist. I’ve been painting since a teenager, and I’ve been doing it for 20 years now. Find me at Paes164.com (p-a-e-s-164.com) My Facebook is facebook.com/paes_art. Rock and roll, off to the letter J. Lets get back into some more bubble letters also known as throw-ups. And kinda starting off here getting a straight line and create the 3D. That’s a very slick joyous J. We’re gonna move up to the block buster. Kinda following in the same shape you know, just blocking it out and filling it in. And again if you find yourself needing to get these paintings done a little bit faster, using a fat cap to fill in definitely gets this done in half the time. Take a nice solid black, solid as a rock. Finally our inner out line. Boo ya black buster J.

I’m gonna take it to a wild style J. Definitely putting us in the same dilemma of what are we gonna do with such a basic letter. So lets bend it another way. Kinda just coming behind the same direction that the J takes on but layering different stacks of shapes and I’m gonna fill it in nice little fill going. Lets do some shapes nice little cool fill pattern going there gonna be whatever you want it to be. And then our defining lines coming back and outlining little bit of 3D action. Our J is making progress. See some tiles, Now were gonna be overlapping. Definitely helps when you get to better pieces, but get your lines in come back and inner gel the new lines. And our final step would be the outer lines boom wild style J.”
