Hi, I’m Heidi from The Lanyard Ladies, and today I’m going to show you how to make a single rainbow loom bracelet. What you’ll need is your rainbow loom, and different variety of colors of rubber bands, and you’ll need your hook.
You start off, make sure that the red arrow is facing away from you. Start off with your rubber bands and hook one onto that one, then on top of that, and you’re going to keep hooking your rubber bands onto your loom all the way across, until you get to the end. You can use any colors you want, any patterns you want, and you’ll just keep hooking them on, just like this. So make all the way to the end. Now when you get to the end, you’re going to take your loom, and you’re going to turn it around. So now the arrow is on the other side. Now you’re going to take your hook, and you skip the first peg that you have here, go to the second peg. You’re going to take your tool, you’re going to wrap, grab on to the pink rubber band, pull it out, and wrap it around to the next one.
Go to your next peg, take the red rubber bands, wrap it around to the next one. Next rubber band, pull it out, wrap it to the next one. You continue doing this until you get all the way to the end, and all your rubber bands hooked on. Go get the next one. This is a good way to practice before you start learning how to do harder ones. Hook it on, and put that on. Now when you get to the end, your bracelet is not going to be long enough for your wrist, so we’re going to have to add an extension line, and the way you do that is you’re going to take one rubber band, you’re going to go to the end, we’re going to stick our hook all the way in, okay, you’re going to put your hook through, take your rubber band, pull it through, hook it on.
Now you’re going to pull your rubber bands off. And you could see it’s not long enough to fit your wrist yet. So we’re going to turn our loom back around, I’m going to add about six more rubber bands, so this way it can fit your wrist. You grab your different colors, two, three, four, five, and six. Now you’re going to flip your loom back around, take your hook that has your two rubber bands on it, attach it to the last peg, and let the rubber band loose. Now take, keep your bracelet on the side, take your tool, go in, and just keep hooking your rubber bands on, until you get to the end, and now we just extended the bracelet. When we get to the end, we’re going to use a c clip to hold our bracelet in place, and the last rubber band. Now we’re going to take a c clip , and we’re going to hook it on to the last rubber band. So you hook one end of your c clip, and then go to the other end of your bracelet, and hook the other hand into your c clip, just like that. And there you have a single stitch rainbow loom bracelet, like I’m wearing.
