I’m going to teach you how to make an abstract flower. We’re going to use our one inch flat brush to get started and some red paint. This is sort of a dabbing technique. We’re going to load the brush up with quite a bit of red paint, and then I’m just going to take the brush and push it into the canvas, and it makes a flower shape. The next one I’d like to show you is more of a rose shape. Once again I’m going to load up the brush, and I’m just going to do several little circular motions to form a rose. I’m going to use my half inch flat brush, and we’re going to give a center to this little guy right here with the yellow paint, and we’re just going to take a glob of yellow paint, and we’re just going to set it right in the center here. Doesn’t have to be perfectly round. I’m also going to show you how to do the stems and some blades of grass or some of the blades that grow up around the flowers. We’ll use red paint. I’m going to take the brush, and I’m going to lay it flat on the canvas, and as I pull up I’m going to twist it to a point and then lift up on the pressure of the brush, and it gives me a really nice blade of grass, or it also looks like the little blades that grow up around the flowers. I’m going to use another brush here and show you how to make a stem. This is a round liner brush. I’m going to use the red paint, and I’m just going to start at the center of the flower with a lot of pressure and pull down and do the same thing for this one and just pull down. And that’s how we make abstract flowers.I wasn’t sure if I should start with her introduction that occurs before the title “”How to Make Abstract Flowers”” on the video. The example did not have an intro…he just started immediately after the title. So I included it since I was uncertain. Thanks for a well paying hit.
