My name is Ben Nemzer and I am a magician. One of my specialties is close up magic which is magic with ordinary objects stacks of cards, ropes, rubber bands and I do that all over New York City. I’m going to teach you some of the basics of magic that you guys can start performing right away. Best way to be a good magician is to do as much magic as you can for real people or real audiences but before you can get to that step you really have to practice. You want to learn as much as you can and then you want to practice and it’s really important to find somebody who you can practice for whether it’s your parents, a sibling, a friend, a roommate, a teacher , anyone who you can show magic to and who will honestly tell you whether it’s good or not and then you can go do it for real people. You know I was always told and it’s definitely what I’m sure that the more shows that you do bring close to the show that you wanted. And you’re never going to be perfect, there’s no such thing as a perfect magic show or a perfect magician but the only way to get good is to keep practicing and keep performing and keep learning.
