How to Dance at a Bar Mitzvah or Sweet 16

Transcript

Ava: Hi everybody, I’m Ava. This is my twin sister, Loretta. We’re the Double Time Twins, and this is Anthony. Right now, we’re going to show you how to dance at a Bar Mitzvah or a Sweet 16. I mean those one’s constantly, the main thing to remember with this is just keep it clean, simple, and have fun while you’re doing it, you know? Okay, so the first one we’re going to show you is fist pump.

Loretta: This is something that we all love to do when we’re at a Bar Mitzvah, because we’re with what – 50-60 and some, maybe 100-200. We’ve all been there, right? We’re with all of our friends, and this is something that we all do together. A lot of times we’re in a circle, right? We’re in a circle and a song with a lot of energy comes on, right?

And you want to amp it up and pump it up, so we could start on the bottom, and we all find each other’s groove, so we get down, okay? We all find each other’s groove and we’re hands are in our fists and we just stomp the floor. Yes, find the beat, find the beat, find the beat, find the beat, amp it up, amp it up and five, six, seven, don’t stop. Yes, that is something that will get everyone up, everyone hyped, and we could all jump up and down this time.

Ava: Everybody can do that together, you don’t have to be an amazing dancer to do that with your friends at a Sweet 16 or a Bar Mitzvah.

Loretta: Plus, it’s really fun.

Ava: Yes, it’s really fun.

Loretta: All right, Anthony’s going to take us through one more move that we can all do together.

Anthony: We have a simple, really basic four kind of put together thing. It’s really simple that you guys can do at a Bar Mitzvah or a Sweet 16. Our hands are going to go pointed out. We’re going to cross them, going to slap and then throw them out.

And then you’re going to change sides, so we got out, cross, slap, throw them out. Out, cross, slap, throw them out. Out, throw them out, out, cross, slap, throw them out, and that is how you can dance at a Bar Mitzvah or a Sweet 16.

Ava: BAM.
