What’s up, ya’ll? My name is Matt Lopez. I’m with Def-C Crew based in New York City. I’d like to introduce you to my crew members. To my left is Alice, Melissa, Charlie, Vevay, Ester, Sierra and Michael or Mikey.
Let me tell you a little bit about us. We got together in New York City about a year ago. We came together to raise money for the tsunami and earthquake that hit Japan. We performed and raised a lot of money. We ended up performing in the Bronx for a homeless shelter just to make some people happy and get people smiling.
We did a flash mob for Toys for Tots. We raised money for Toys for Tots. We had people come in, bring in toys. They also donated money. We just did a flash mob at South Street Seaport in New York City just to surprise some people. We passed out Toys for Tots flyers.
