What’s up, everybody? Jeff Cowans. The ladies are going to show you how to do “whip my hair”. You’ve heard the song, you’ve seen the video, you’ve seen the dance, now let’s try it. What they’re going to do is they’re going to turn to their right side and they’re going to whip their hair twice. Basically, they’re just going like this, one and two, other side, three, and four, five and six, seven and eight.

You can do whatever you want with your hands. So you can go one and two move, three and four move, five and six, seven and eight, but that’s what it looks like, basically. So watch them do it. Five, six, seven, eight, they’re going one and two, switch, three and four, switch, five and six, switch, seven and eight. That’s what it looks like. So after you do that, you do a jump. You jump your feet together on one and let’s say you push your hair out of your face.

You’re going to go jump, push on the right, then the left, push, then you do it one more time. Jump, push, and then you’re going to do a step pivot. You step with the right and pivot your body to the left. And you should be facing your left side. We’ll do that part again. You’re going to go jump hit, jump hit, jump hit, step, pivot. It looks like this. Jump, hit, jump, hit, jump, hit, step, pivot. Let’s put it together. Everything starts on the right side first on one. Six, seven, eight, you go one and two, three and four, five, six, seven right side, you go right and hit, left and hit, right and hit, step, pivot. You guys got it?

Now there’s one more part left, and this is the part that goes perfectly with the song because this is the part where you’re really whipping your hair. So you’re going to bring your hair around in a circle to the left side, your left, my right, and you’re going to use your foot to come around. All right? Let’s give it a try. Five, six, seven, circle, you’re going one, two, three, four. There you go, that’s what it looks like.

We’re going to take it from the top. Five, six, seven, eight, they go one, two, switch three, four, five, six, seven right side, they go right and hit, left and hit, right and hit, step, pivot, go one, two, three, four. You can finish it off at the end however you want when you come up and get your hair out of your face. Two, four, six, go one two, three four, five six, seven eight. Two, three, four, six, and eight.

Boom, badoom, boom boom, badoom, boom boom, baby, super bass. That’s what you’re about to learn right now, the Super Bass dance by Nicki Minaj. You ready to show them? All right. So this is how it’s done. Your hands are up like this, and you’re going to move to the side for a count of four, right? Let’s just do the hands. Your hands go one, two, three, four. Now I move the hand, and my shoulder goes down. Catching that? So I go one, two, three, four. Right shoulder’s dropping the whole time, two, three, four. Now my hands are going one, two, three, four, look at the hands, five, six, seven, eight. It goes one, two, three, and the shoulder goes one, two, three, four. Copy that.

Now you’re going go with the feet. You’re feet are going to go step, close, step, close. Got it? Six, seven, feet go, step, close, step, close, and you’re going to continue to do it while I talk it out. You’re going to go step, close, step, close. Now without this step, close. During the step, close, you’re going to bend your knees. Make sure it has a bounce to it. Yeah. So you’re going step, close, step, close, step, close the whole time, right? So you’re going to keep that up for a count of four, and your hands go like this. You go step, close, close. You got it?

So you’re going to let that rock for a count of four, and you’re going to step five. Your head is going to go the right and to the left, your left, right? My right. So your head goes six, seven, bring it back in, eight. Okay. Again. You go. From the beginning, you go one, two, see that shoulder drop, three, four, step, five, six, seven, eight. Now watch them do it. Five, six, seven, eight. They go one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight. Got it?

Now, after that, you want to make your hips rock side to side, right? And they’re going to go right, left, right, left. It’s going to go down, down, down, down, and then back up. Okay. So you’re going to go right, left, right, left, right, left, right, left all the way back up. Simple enough? All right. So watch them do it. Seven, bend your knees. You go one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight. Got it? Again. You go down. Then go one, two, three, four, come up, five, six, seven, eight. That’s how they do it.

Let’s put the whole thing together. Five, six, seven, eight. Let’s go. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight. Down. One, two, three, bring it up, five, six, seven, eight. You see it? That’s your dance right there, super bass.

Walk it out. Walk it out. Walk it out. Walk it out. Walk it out. Walk it out. Hey, what’s up. We’re going to show you how to do this dance. Walk it out. Walk it out. Walk it out. Walk it out. You’ve seen it. You probably did it at a party, but who knows if you did it right or not, right? So we’re going to show you how to do it right. It’s pretty simple. Take your right foot and step here because you’re about to walk to the front. When you take your left foot, you do the same thing. You see this little angle I’ve got here, and I’ve got my knee out. You’re going to go the other way, you step. Pretty simple. So now my left knee is out.

Let’s do it from the top one more time. I’m going to go. Right foot. Do you see how my knee is out to the side? My foot is out as well. I’ve got to have my toes pointed to the side, and then I do the left. Now the right, and then the left. There you go. Bring it back. So, the important thing in “Walk it Out” is having your knees bent. Yeah? You want to have your knees bent so that you can bounce off from one move to the next. All right. And you want to stay low so that you see these knees out to the side. Okay, so you’re going to say, “walk it out” as you do it, and think “out”. Think knees out, think toes out. All right, let’s give it a try.

Slow. Six, seven, eight, walk it out. There you go. We’re going to do it again. Okay, so pay close attention the feet. When I take my first step with the right, I’m here. Then, I step with the left. I’m here. It’s the same thing that you saw on the right side, but now on the left. My foot is out to the side. Then I’m going to step with the right again. Then I step with the left. That’s your “Walk it Out”. Bring it back. Let’s do it slow.

Let’s do it slow. Six, seven, eight. Now, if you’re noticing, as I’m doing it I’m doing something different than she’s doing with the hands. She’s doing something different than she’s doing. Do whatever you want with your hands. Just make sure that they’re moving. You can keep it still, but make sure it matches your personality and what you want to do with that time. So, it looks like this. Six, seven, eight. There you go. That’s “Walk it Out.” Hey. There you go. We’re going to bring it back and do it again. Five, six, seven, eight. Hey. Hey. Hey. That’s “Walk it Out” for you. We’ll do it again. You can do it in place as well. You go, hey. I’m just on my toes. Walk it out.

Hey what’s up. I’m Jeff Cowans and I’m going to show you guys some really easy, basic, tutting moves. On my side I have Jared over here and I have Eric on this side. So they’re going to help me out. So now you have three people to watch and that’s three different tutting styles.

So we need to try this first style there and it’s called Box Tut. So you make a box. Looks like a box yeah? You could flip your box. Flip your box to your box on the side. Whatever you want as long as you know that this is a Box Tut. In these tuts you have to have straight lines. So you want to have straight lines and 90 degree angles in tutting all the time. So I would suggest you first stretch. Stretch your wrist. There’s a lot of different ways to stretch your wrist. I do this all the time. I stretch my wrist because you want to be able to tut and not have cups or these claws up here. You want to have clean straight lines, 90 degrees. Right? So hands down. Let’s do this Box Tut again. So you have a Box Tut. Yeah, you see that, nice clean lines? There you go. You can switch it up and flip it anyway you want. That’s a Box Tut.

The next one we’re going to do is an Egyptian Tut. So, this also looks like a box tut, you can call it that. But it’s Egyptian Tut. You see, it kind of reminds you of walk like an Egyptian? So Egyptian Tut kind of reminds you of the hieroglyphic things you saw in school, on the wall, in the books and stuff like that. So there you go, Egyptian Tut.

So we just did box. Got it? There’s your box, there’s your Egyptian Tut. And the next one we’re going to do is a Bible Tut. This one is kind of really simple. You can call this a Bible Tut. You can call this a Bible Tut. You can call this a Bible Tut. Flip it here. Flip it here. That’s a Bible Tut.

So we’re going to put these all together and do a little, short, tutting demo of the three different styles. Again the three styles are Box Tut, you have Egyptian Tut, and you have Bible Tut. From those three basic tuts you can do many different styles, many different things, with just those three. But those are your three basic tuts and you work from there.

So we’re going to do three basic ones and let’s start out with this. You have a box here. You flip your box. Then we’re going to put our hands out straight into a what? A Bible Tut. Let’s flip it inside. Still have a Bible Tut. Let’s take our right arm and flip it out and you still have a? Bible Tut. Now if I throw it up I have an Egyptian Tut. Got it? I turn my hands out I still have an Egyptian Tut. And I could turn it back in. So those are your three basic ones put all together. You got it.

How to Do the Wave Hip-Hop Dance Move for Kids https://howcast.com/videos/508498-how-to-do-the-wave-kids-hip-hop-moves/ Fri, 19 Oct 2012 13:54:33 +0000 https://howcast.com/videos/508498-how-to-do-the-wave-kids-hip-hop-moves/

Transcript

Jeff Cowans: Hey, what’s up? This time around we’re going to teach you guys how to do the wave. Yeah. There’s a lot of different ways you can do the wave. You can do it with your body. You can do it with your arms. You can do it with your back, even. But we’re going to do the wave straight across. Yeah.

So you’re going to stick out your arms, and before we start doing the wave, we’re going to break it down nice and slow with our right side. We’re going to chop it up like this. So you’re going to go one, two, three. I use my body as four, other shoulder, five, six, seven, eight. Yeah. Then coming back from that side I go one, two, three. On three I push my shoulder up to my ear, three, chest, four, other side, five, six, seven, eight. Now with that wave and chopping it up, I think the hardest part of it is going to be the elbows. Once you get the elbows to do this or do this, you’re good. Everything else, it’s pretty easy.

So let’s try it again from the right side. You guys ready? So we’re going to go one, two, three, chest, five, six, seven, eight. Again, one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight. From that, you can count it across your body nice and slow and make from one to eight. Yeah.

Keep the same way you just did it, but this time you’re going to add this. Yeah. So you don’t just want to go voom to your wave. You want to use every single joint, starting from your hand, and let the wave roll through your body. So you’re going to go this. Yeah. You want to pull it in and not just go here for your wave, and then pull it in from your fingers. You guys ready? Autumn, you ready?

Autumn: Yeah.

Jeff:You really ready?

Speaker A: Yeah.

Jeff: Let’s do it. Hands out. So we’re going to chop it up one more time for you from our right to the left and then back, and then we’ll let it run through nice and smooth and remembering to bend all the joints in the hand. So five, six, seven, eight. You’re going one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight. Now let’s roll through nice and slow. Six, seven, eight. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight. Other way. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight. There you go, that’s the wave. After doing it and practicing it so many times, your arms get a little tired. It’s okay. No pain, no gain.

All right, so there was this group back in the ’90s called Wu-Tang Clan. For some reason, now they have a dance, Wu-Tang Clan, and everybody wants to do it. We’re going to show you how to do it. This is what it looks like. I’m going to do it first and then we’re going to break it down and show you what it looks like. It looks like this. Now, if you notice, I made a ‘W’ in there. Basically, that’s what’s happening. You’re going to do a right, left, and make a ‘W’. You got it? Because a ‘W’, for Wu-Tang, got it?

So now, the whole time it’s happening, you’re going to make sure that your pelvis is going down. See, your body’s going to go down into it, down into it, ‘W’. Got it? You can do right, left, boom, pull it down, and left, right, boom, pull it down. As long as you get that ‘W’ in there, you can even do so many of these, but you have to get that ‘W’ in there, or else it’s not a Wu-Tang. You understand?

All right, we’re going to do it nice and slow one more time. You’re going to go just the hands this time. You’re going right, and bring it across. See how I bring it across my body? And then I go left. Then I go Wu-Tang. Yeah, again, you can have fists. Boom, boom, boom, boom. Then I’m going to do the left side. I go left, right, X, boom, and that made a ‘W’. There’s your Wu-Tang right there.

We’re going to do it again for you, a little bit faster, and then you guys can try it when we put on the music. So the whole time you guys are going to remember to make sure you have this bounce happening. All right. Everything in hip hop has to do with bounce in the knees. The knees are very important in hip hop. In this you’re going to make sure that you’re bouncing using the knees, and you’re going to make sure that you have this ‘W’ happen. We’re going to go right, left, ‘W’, left side. Boom, boom, boom, ha. There’s your Wu-Tang. Are you ready to try it?

Hey, that’s Wu-Tang. You ready? Let’s do it again. Like this. Come on. Hey, there’s your Wu-Tang. You got it? Let’s try it. Come on. Everybody, let’s go. Wu-Tang.

Hey, what’s up? All right, here’s another dance you’ve seen before. You’ve seen it in a music video by The Rejects. It’s called the Jerk. A lot of people confuse it with other dances but now you’re going to find out what it is and how to do it. This is the jerk.

You want to keep your knees low. You want to keep your body low and you’re going to bounce, like this. You go, hey. Other side, hey, hey, hey. Got it? All right. So I’m going to break that down a little bit.

Basically you’re going to be low to the floor. Think of it like you’re creeping, you’re getting low. I don’t know. You’re an umpire. Yeah? Something like that. And then you’re going to go to the side. See how my knees go? Bounce. Yeah? Do we got it? All right. Let’s do it again.

So you’re up, you’re at a party, you feel like you’re getting ready to dance, you want to, I want to try this. I want to try the jerk. So what I’m going to do is I’m going to get low. Yeah? I’m going to lean to the side. And I’m going to bounce off my knees. Bounce. I’ll hit the other side. I’m going to bounce off of it. Bounce. Got it? Bounce off of it.

So let’s try it twice on the other side now. So I’m going to go bounce, bounce, bounce, bounce, bounce, bounce, bounce, bounce. Got it? Bounce, bounce, hey, bounce, bounce. Do whatever you want with your hands. But it’s all about getting low and using your knees. So you got it? You got it? Let’s try it again.

As you see, one of my legs is longer than the other and I’m just going to like pull that one in, drag that one in and bounce. So let’s try it. Yeah? We’re going to do one time on each side.

Five, six, seven, eight. We’re going hey. Got it? We bounce, bounce, bounce. Got it? You following us? Yeah? See how the hands change up? Now we’re going to do it twice on each side because you have the choice to do it once, twice. You could even do it five times in a row if you’re really feeling yourself and you’re out there and you’re having a good time, knock yourself out.

Now we’re going to do it twice so we’re going to go hey, hey, hey. My fellows got it behind me? You see them? So you can follow me or you can follow them. But you got it.

Let’s do it one more time really slow for them. Okay? So we’re going to go hey, bounce, hey, bounce. Got it? Hey, bounce, hey, bounce. See how I’m dragging one leg? But the whole time my knees are bouncing so a lot of hip hop is in the knees and this is one of those where you’re going to have to stay low in the knees. I know it kind of reminds you of those 80’s pictures back in the day. You know what I mean? They don’t know about that. But it kind of reminds you of the 80’s pictures back in the day being low down. But hey, that’s hip hop. Got it? Want to try it? Here we go.

Hey. Two times, other side. Hey. One time. You guys got it? Simple enough, yeah?

All right. Now a lot of people think this next step I’m doing right now is called the Jerk but it’s not. This is the Reject and we’re going to show you guys how to do it. Let’s start out to the side. So you’re like this to the side. Pick up your left foot. Got it? All right. All I want you to do now is jump forward. Keep your right foot on the floor. Just jump forward. It looks like this. Ready. Go. Now bring the other foot down to the back. Simple enough, let’s try it again. You’re standing here, you’re going to pick up your left foot. Pick it up. Jump forward. Put it behind you. Now the one that’s in the back, you’re going to jump forward that one and pick up your right knee. So it looks like this. Put it behind you. You got it? We’re going to do it again from the beginning.

So you’re standing there. You’re at a party. You want to do something. You want to a dance, you don’t know which one to do, then you hear a song. You want to try this? So you pick up your left knee, hop forward, step back, hop forward, step back, hop forward, step back, hop forward, step back, hop forward, step back, hop forward, step back. I said it a lot but I think you got it now. You think you got it? Let’s try it. Five, six, seven, eight, you go; step back, step back, step back, step back, step back. Yes? All right. So I got Jared over here and I got Jim on this side. So now you’re going to see us do it faster and then to the music. So it’s going to look like this. Five, six, seven, eight, you go; hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey. That’s what it looks like fast. We’re going to do it slow one more time and then we’ll speed it up again.

So, you’re going to go, first you pick up your left, left up, put it behind you. Hop forward. Put it behind you. Hop forward. Put it behind you. Hop forward. Now let’s speed it up. Five, six, seven, eight; you go… Now you see my arms are moving. You can do whatever you want to do. Just make sure you’re having a good time and they’re moving. You don’t want to look like this. So make sure your arms are moving. Make sure you’re having a good time. Let’s try it with the music. Move those arms. Don’t forget. That’s how we do it. You could turn. You got it. Hey, hey, hey. That’s what it looks like. As long as you’re having fun, you can’t be stopped.

How to Do the Knee Drop Hip-Hop Dance Move for Kids https://howcast.com/videos/508491-how-to-do-the-knee-drop-kids-hip-hop-moves/ Fri, 19 Oct 2012 13:54:32 +0000 https://howcast.com/videos/508491-how-to-do-the-knee-drop-kids-hip-hop-moves/

Transcript

Hey, what’s up? We’re going to teach you something else right now. This is a knee drop. You might call it something else, but it is what it is. You’re going to drop to your knee, right? So this is how you do it, nice and slow. Not easy, so make sure you’re paying attention. You can rewind. You can do it again, but it’s not going to be that hard for you.

So we’re going to step out, and then you’re going to take your ankle and make sure that it’s hooked behind your knee. Okay. They’re going to stay forward. So you can see how you look, I’m going to turn to the side. So I’m hooking it right here. Got it? All right. So I hook it here right behind, and then I’m going to pull myself forward and just fall forward to the floor. You’re going to watch Eric over here. He’s going to use his hands, so it looks like this, and your hand goes in front of your body. Yeah.

If you’re already beyond that and you don’t want to put your hands on the floor, you can do it without your hands, and it looks like this. He’s going to stay there so you can see that, and then you can do it like this without the hand. You just step out, hook it in the back, and just fall. It’s the same thing. You make sure that your body is pulling to the front. Now, if you notice, my knee actually isn’t touching the floor. It’s my foot. So I turn my body. I was facing you here, and now I turn my body, so when I fall, I fall onto my foot. Got it? So it’s protecting your knee. No need for a knee pad. You’re not going to hit the floor, because you used your hand, and if you didn’t, don’t worry. You actually landed on your foot. So you’ll be all right.

Let’s try it. Come back up, guys. So we’re going to take a step out to the side, and again we’re going to hook our ankle, a right ankle, right behind the back of your knee. Your knee is bent anyway, so hook it there. Use that momentum of pulling your foot forward to pull your body forward, and you’re going to fall. It looks like this, fall. Got it? So your knee never touched the floor. Anybody’s knee on the floor here? Nope? Got it?

Then from here, all you do is turn it. You can turn and stay low, or you can corkscrew up. We’re going to corkscrew up. It looks like this. There’s your corkscrew up. Got it? So again step out to the side. Take your right ankle and hook it behind your knee. When I hook it, I’m going to pull myself forward. Okay. So I go voom, like I’m falling forward, and then my hand to the floor. Got it? Your knee’s not touching the floor at all. Simple enough. Now, they’re going to stay there. This is the way you should be when you land.

Here’s another way that it can be done, and this will be wrong, so you want to make sure you do not. Hook your foot, and when your body goes down, don’t let your foot slide down, because then you get this. Got it? You see that? This is what you don’t want. You want it to land right behind your knee. From there, we can push up. There you go.

Transcript

Hey, what’s up. This is Jeff Cowans. I’ve already shown you how to do the
kick-step-step, but some of you have been asking about the kick-step-step
like Justin Bieber does. We could do that too. In a minute, you’ll be
able to do it too.

Alright, so with this kick-step-step, you’re going to put your leg straight
out in front of you. So, let’s put your right foot out straight. Then
next, you’re going to jump and switch to your left foot. Same thing you
have hear, but now on the left foot. Switch. Got it? So, let’s do that
again.

You’re going to go, right foot out. Switch to the next one. So, you’re
going to jump and make that switch happen. Ready, five, six, seven, eight,
step, switch. Okay, so think of it as kick, kick. When the other one is
in the air, the left one, all you’re going to do is turn it. Got it?
Let’s try it. Five, six, seven, eight. I go leg, switch, turn. Got it?
Five, six, seven, eight. I go leg, switch, turn. Yes, that’s how you do
it starting with the right. Let’s start with the left. So, you go left,
jump to the right, and then you turn. Then when you want to switch to this
from the other side, all you do is go leg out, switch it, and turn. Leg
out, switch it, and turn.

When I say turn, I’m going to do this. Yeah, I’m going to turn my body.
There you go, so let’s try it. Five, six, seven, eight, right, left, turn.
You go left, right, turn. You go right, left, turn. You go left. There
it is.

The hands; the hands can do whatever you want. I’m going to go like this,
ta, ta, ta; ta, ta, ta. Boom, boom, boom; boom, boom, boom. Got it? So,
that might work for you as well. All I’m doing is going right, left, right.
Then I’m going left, right, left. It sounds the same thing as what you’re
doing with your feet. Your feet are going right, left, right.
Your arms are going ta, ta, ta; ta, ta, ta; ta, ta, ta; ta, ta, ta. Got
it? Right, left, right. Switch it. Left, right, left. We’re going to do
it slow; looks like this. Six, seven, eight, right, left, turn. Boom,
boom, ha. Boom, boom, ha. Boom, boom, ha. Boom, boom, ha. Got it?
That’s how it works.

Let’s try it. Hey, there you go. Hey, hands. Switch it up, switch it up,
switch it up. There you go. That’s how you do it.

How to Do the Shamrock Hip-Hop Dance Move for Kids https://howcast.com/videos/508494-how-to-do-the-shamrock-kids-hip-hop-moves/ Fri, 19 Oct 2012 13:54:32 +0000 https://howcast.com/videos/508494-how-to-do-the-shamrock-kids-hip-hop-moves/

Hey, what’s up? I’m here and I’m getting ready to show you a dance we call
the Shamrock. This is Genesee. She’s going to show you how girls do it. It’s
not really much of a difference, but different dancers have different
styles and different flavor to add to it. So, I’m going to do it my way. She’s
going to do it her way, but you’re going to do it the way we show you how to do
it. It looks like this.

You’re going to take a step with your left foot. Take a step out. You bring
your body around. Basically, your body’s just doing this. Yeah. Then,
you’re going to step in. When your foot touches the floor, you bounce up so it
looks like this. Then you take a step with your right foot, pivot your body
around, this is the pivot. And then, you step in. There you go. That’s the
basic thing of the Shamrock.

There’s a lot of places in there, doesn’t seem like it, where you can add
your own little, hey, your little moment that’s you. Basically, this is
what it looks like. We go step, pivot, bounce up. You go step, pivot,
bounce up. Step, pivot, bounce up. Step, pivot, bounce up. You got it? All
right. We’re going to do it slow one more time for you. So, I take my left
foot and I step forward.

To pivot, I pick up my heels, so I go pivot and when I step in, right when
my foot is about to hit the floor, it bounces me up. So I go, then, I take
a step forward with the right. Pivot. Then, I take a step in and bounce up.
There you go. That’s your Shamrock. Now, without the music, this is what it
looks like when you add a little bit of Genesee to it and a little bit of
Jeff.

You add whatever your name is and make it work. So, you go boom, ha and
step. Hey. Got it? There you go. That’s your Shamrock. We’re going to try it
to the music.

What’s up? I’m Jeff. This is my boy Jared right here. We’re going to show you how to do a hinge kick. It’s going to look pretty tough, but once we break it down, it’s going to be pretty easy. So you want to try it? All right. This is what you’re going to do. You’re going to come down to the floor. You’re sitting in this position. You notice my heels are up, and I’m going to just throw my hands back. I’m going to break it down really slow for you, so I’m going to start with the hands first.

I’m going to throw my hand back behind my body like this. Now, my hands have to be pretty far away from my body, not too close. You got it? Let’s do it. You’re going to throw your hands back like this, pretty far away from your body. Now there’s one more important thing with throwing the arms back. When I throw my arms back, I bend my elbows so that it doesn’t hurt. This is going to probably hurt your first time. Not probably, it’s going to hurt. So back to the front. We’re going to throw our hands back like this. Ready? Look. Boom, and I bend my elbow. That’s the cushion. That cushion is going to help me push back in, so this is how I come back in later. Watch. Push. Got it? You need your elbows, so don’t forget that.

Now, we’re going to throw our arms back, and then we’re going to do the feet. We’re going to do it on one, two, so it looks like this. Six, seven, eight, hands one, feet two. Got it? So let’s try the arms and the legs at the same time. Come back in. So again, I’m up on my heels. Heels up off the floor. I’m going to do the arms and the legs at the same time, it looks like this. Got it? Simple enough.

All right, so let’s try this. So we’re going to do hands, legs, same time. Five, six, seven, eight. Now in a hitch kick, one of your legs is going to be in the air. We’re going to try the right. Ready, Jared? Let’s just throw up the right so you see what it looks like in the air. It’s like this, and your arms are bent. This is what you want to get. We’re going to start from the beginning and get to this, and then we’ll show you how to get up from this. Bring it in. Big kick up, ready? Looks like this. Five, six, seven, eight, kick up. So you kicked, and your leg is in the air. Now, to get in from this, that’s why you have your arms here. So you’re going to push. You ready, Jared?

We’re going to push just from here, so you go in on one, six, seven, eight, that’s how you come back in. When you put it all together, it looks like this. We’re going to do two in a row for you. Five, six, seven, eight, one, two, there you go. That’s a hinge kick.

Jeff: What’s up? We’re going to teach you something new. It’s not this side to side thing we’re doing. It’s going to be kick, step, step. You ready for this?

Speaker 1: Yes.

Jeff: All right. So, we wanted to try this. You seen it in the club, seen it at a party, seen it at a Bar Mitzvah. Now you’re going to learn how to do it. It’s really easy. You just have to remember what it’s called. It’s called kick, step, step, so you have to keep that in your mind as you do it. Yeah, once you start thinking about something else you start doing something else. Yeah, so keep in mind it’s kick, step, step.

So, what I’m going to do is, I’m going to kick with my right foot and then when I step back with the right foot I’m going to pick up the left. So kick and then I go step, then I step, there you go. So when I step out I’m going to step out and put my toe out on the floor. Yeah, that way my brain already knows that I’m going to use this foot next cause all my weight is on my right foot. Yes, so then I’m going to use this foot and do what? Kick, step, step. So I kick, then I step, then I step.

Now if it works out easy in your brain you can say kick, jump, step, as long as it looks and sounds the same when you’re doing it. See, kick, step, step, there is a sound. Kick, step, step, you go, kick, step, step, kick, step, step. So again, we’re going to do it really slow. You’re going to take your right foot, stick it out, that’s your kick. Then I’m going to step. When I step with my right foot I’m going to jump up on the left, right? Let’s do it. Then I step out, then I kick with the left, then I step, and then I step. So there’s my kick, step, step.

Let’s try it again. Five, six, seven, nice and slow, I go kick, step, step. I go kick, step, step. I go kick, step, step. Kick, step, step. There’s another part to this. You can’t kick, step, step with your hands down like this. Then it’d be something different again right? So our hands are going to go kick. When my foot goes out my hand goes out. Then I go step, then I go step. Again, I go kick, step, step. So when my foot goes out it’s the same thing with my hands. Kick, when my foot comes back in then my hand comes back in, step, then my foot goes out my hand goes out, step.

That’s what it looks like with the hands. So hands only we’re going to do it like this, just the hands it goes kick, step, step. Kick step, step. Kick, step, step. You got it? Kick, step, step. Yes? All right, now let’s put the hands and the feet together. Five, six, seven, eight, kick, step, step. Kick, step, step. Kick, step, step. Kick, step, step. We’re going to speed it up. You ready to speed it up? You ready to speed it up?

Speaker 1: Yeah.

Jeff: Five, six, seven, eight, kick, step, step. Kick, step, step. Kick, step, step. Kick, step, step. That’s what it looks like. Let’s see it with the music. Let’s do this. Ready, five, six, seven, let’s go! Kick, step, step. Step, step. Step, step. Step, step. Hey, there you go. That’s your kick, step, step. Come on, hey, hey, hey.

How to Do Hip-Hop Isolations for Kids https://howcast.com/videos/508488-how-to-do-isolations-kids-hip-hop-moves/ Fri, 19 Oct 2012 13:54:32 +0000 https://howcast.com/videos/508488-how-to-do-isolations-kids-hip-hop-moves/

Transcript

Hey, what’s up? I’m back. This is Jeff Cowans, and I’m going to show you to do some isolations. There are a lot of different parts of your body where you could do isolations, and there’s a lot of different isolations. But right now, we’re going to work with this body isolation and this head and body isolation. We’ll show you how it’s done.

So, there’s a lot of different ways to learn it. There’s a lot of different ways to make it happen for you. Different things work for different people. This is what worked for me. I hope it works for you, because it worked for them.

So what we’re going to do is we’re going to take our shoulders up and lift them as high as you can. Try to touch your ears with your shoulders. You got it high. Yeah it looks funny, I understand. But do it. This is going to make it work. Take your head and push your head as far forward as you can. So now, if you’re looking in the mirror at home, or you’re probably looking at me, you shouldn’t see your neck. Right? So you’re like this. Eventually, once you’ve got it right, you can lower these shoulders and you won’t be like that anymore. But initially to learn it, this worked best for me.

Now, you might have somebody at home who can help you and who can hold your head when you do it. Go ahead. But if you don’t have that, you can try this way here. All right, so you’re going to lift up your shoulders and stick your head forward. This worked for me. I took my hands, I put them here and I just moved my body side to side. Not my head. I moved my body side to side. When I got it, and I felt that I got it, I eventually just lowered my shoulders and lifted up my head and I was able to do it like this, without the hands and without crouching down into this position. Then, I learned how to just do my head.

So, I put my head down. I put my head up. I put my head down. I put my head up. I put my head down, then I threw my body down. I threw my head down, I threw my body down. There you go. All right. I bring it up, I put my body up. Head up. Body up. Head up. Now, as I’m going down, I’m going to bend my knees. I’d probably be on you guys’ height at that point. All right? So let’s go. You’re going to go, head, body, head, body. Let’s come up. Body, head, body, head. You got it? All right.

We’re going to try it slow again. So we’re going to take our hands, put them here. Pick everything up. Head out in front of you, and I’m going to move my body now. Only my body to my right side, your left, like this. Then I go to the other side. Again, I’m just going to go back and forth, back and forth. Yeah. So you want to try to keep your head still and it’s just your body that’s moving. Yes? Now, when I want to go down, I’m going to do head down, body down, head down, body down. When you do a few of those in a row it gets a little bit confusing, but you’ve got to remember you can’t do head, head, head, head. You’re going to have to do head, body, head, body, and then you change it up and you go body, head, body, head. Do we understand? Got it? You guys understand? Simple enough?

Once you break it down like that, everything is going to be [inaudible]. Five, six, seven, eight. Hey, bring it up. Again. Take it down. One more time, here we go. Bring it up. Simple enough?

Hey what’s up. Here’s another one for you that you have to try. I know you probably tried it in the room with the door closed and in the bedroom. I see you. But now we learn it how to do it the right way. Yeah. This is called Pop Lock and Drop It. We got Ashley over there and we got Genesee. This is how it’s done.

Your hands, they’re like this, alright? We got them right here, hands are together and without the bottom, just your hands are going to go, to the right side, to the left side. And then your hands go up. That’s where you drop it. So, watch for the hands, they go to the right side, to the left side, and then they drop it. There you go. So, their body is going to drop although the hands are going up. So I’m saying right left drop it, but the hands are going up.

So, again, here’s where the arms are, right, left, drop it. Got it? Five, six, seven, eight, they go right, left, drop it, faster. Five, six, seven, eight, right, left drop it. Now the legs, go, you bend your knee, on the right side, then you bend your knee on the left side, and then when you drop down your knees open so it looks like this. There’s your drop. Okay? So you go right knee, in, left knee in, then you drop it. And when you put it all together slowly it looks like this. You go pop, lock, and drop it. There you go, you go, pop, lock, and drop it. There you go, you go, pop, lock and drop it. Now you learned it. Pop, lock, and drop it. Look at the knees, it goes, pop lock and drop it. Got it? Pop lock drop it.

In Hip Hop like I said before you have to use your knees, you have to bend your knees, you can’t just stand there with straight legs and moving the top of your body. It happens sometimes but most of the time you’re going to have to use your knees, you’re going to have a bounce in it. So in this you see the knees and you have a bounce. We’re going to try it again, no music. Try it along with them, six, seven, eight. You got pop lock, drop it. Again. Pop lock drop it. Last time, pop, lock, drop it. Now to the music. Let’s give it a try. Pop lock, there. Pop lock, you go. Pop, lock and drop it yo. Pop Lock and drop it there it is. Pop lock and drop it. Pop lock and drop it. That’s the dance. Pop lock and drop it. Try it. Pop lock and drop it.

I got a really easy one for you guys to try. We call it Pump It. There’s a lot of different ways to do it, and I’m going to show you two different ways, one when you want to get really crazy in the club, and another one when you want to get really crazy in the club. I guess either way, Pump It is going to be a crazy dance, and a really easy one.

So here’s what you’re going to do. You’re going to take your right arm, your left, whichever you want, we’re going to try it with the right, and you’re going to make a fist and pump it. That’s it. Simple enough. I don’t look I’m having a good time yet, but once I add the body and the head, I look like I’m having a good time. And this how you pump it. You guys got it?

Let me see you do it. Pump it. Pump it. Simple enough? I can switch up the hands. Pump it. To the other side. Nice and easy. You don’t want to do two, because you’re not in a gym, but one is good enough. Yeah? You just do it to the beat. Really, really simple.

Here’s another version of Pump It. You turn to the side. Come on ladies. Ladies, you might want to try this. Maybe not the fellas. Put your hands like this, and you’re going to push your arms out, right? So you’re like, pump it, pump it, pump it. Your body’s going pump it, pump it, pump it. You want to make sure you bring your knees. You want to make sure you get low. You want to make sure you have a good time.

So with this version, I’m going to step to the side so that Ariel and Autumn can show you how it’s done. They put their hands up like this and they go pump it, pump it, pump it, pump it, push out, pump it, pump it, pump it.

All right. So let’s put the two together. Let’s do the first version, where you pump it up like this. You go pump it, pump it, pump it, pump it. They turn to the side and they go pump it, pump it, pump it, pump it. Simple enough?

Switch it up. All right now, pump it to the side. See how they got it? I can get crazy too. Like this. Now, as long as you’re having a good time, it doesn’t matter how you pump it. You can pump it right, you can pump it left, you can pump it high, you can pump it low, as long as you have a good time. You see them? Let’s pump it up again this way. Come on. Pump it up, pump it up. Got it? Switch up the hands. Now, pump it like this. Come on, ladies. They got it. Now, you should try it at home. It’s simple enough. Pump it, pump it.

How to Do the Chest Pop Hip-Hop Dance Move for Kids https://howcast.com/videos/508479-how-to-do-the-chest-pop-kids-hip-hop-moves/ Fri, 19 Oct 2012 13:54:31 +0000 https://howcast.com/videos/508479-how-to-do-the-chest-pop-kids-hip-hop-moves/

Transcript

Hey. What’s up, everybody? Let’s try something new this time. It’s the chest pop. There’s a lot of different times in dance you can use it. You find when you want to use it. We’ll show you how to do it. This is the chest pop.

What you want to do is in your back there’s muscles. You want to take the muscles in your back and pull them down. So a lot of people do a chest pop and they’re doing all of this and their shoulders are moving. We’re not going to do that. That’s not how it’s going to happen today. We’re going to show you how to do it.

Basically, what happens, it’s kind of like your shirt where you pull it down the back and the front goes up. That’s basically what’s happening to your body. So you’re going to pull the muscles down in your back and then it’s going to make your chest muscles pop up and it looks like this. Basically, like this. Got it? And if you turn to the side, it looks like this.

Now, I’m taking all the air in my stomach as well and I’m pushing it up. So you don’t want to like hyperventilate and just take all the air away. You want to just pull it up, yeah? So my stomach is going, and all the air is coming here and I’m pulling the muscles down in my back. It’s a lot to think about, but it’ll work out. Yeah? So try it.

We’re going to do it right here really slow and then we’re going to turn to the side so you see what it looks like from the side. Yeah? So it looks like this basically. Not moving your shoulders up and down. Not doing all of this. You’re not trying to pump it. You just want to go, pull it up. You got it? So it looks like this. You guys got it? Let’s do it.

Now, to the side it looks like this. Got it? Again, to the side it looks like this. The other side. Taking all the air, pulling it up. You go. And to the front, looks like this. There’s your chest pop.

Now you can do it so many different ways. You can pop here, diagonal. You could put it with so many other different things. You could even lift up and do it. Yeah? Got it? Nice and simple. Let’s try it again.

I’m going to bend my knees a little bit. When I do it, it’s just going to make it look a lot bigger. So I’ll push my knees up and I’ll pull my chest up. So it’ll look like this. Got it? You can try it that way as well. So I’m here. Pick which way you want to do it. You want to do it to the right, left, middle, up, down. You try it. We’re going to put it to some music so you see how it looks. We’ll try it slow to the music and then we’ll do it a little bit faster.

Now, with this music you can also use your hands so you might want to try it like this. You might want to try two hands. It’s on you. Got it? You try it however you want to try it. We’re going to do two, two, two, two, two. Try it with me. You guys ready? Are you guys ready? Let’s do it. Six, seven, eight. Simple enough?

How to Do the Heel Toe Hip-Hop Dance Move for Kids https://howcast.com/videos/508486-how-to-do-the-heel-toe-kids-hip-hop-moves/ Fri, 19 Oct 2012 13:54:31 +0000 https://howcast.com/videos/508486-how-to-do-the-heel-toe-kids-hip-hop-moves/

Transcript

What’s up. This time around we’re going to show you how to do the Heel Toe. This dance just basically goes by the name. It’s called the Heel Toe so you know you’re going to use a heel and a toe. Right? So we’re going to start out taking our right foot and put that on the heel. The left foot, you can see over here, is going to be on the toe so I’m up like this. There you go, Heel Toe, that’s the dance. No, there’s more to it. So what you’re going to do is; you’re on your heel here and you’re on your toe here, you’re going to turn it to the side. Got it?

So we started out facing the left side, which is your right, and then we turned to our right, which is your left. So we’re going to take your right foot and put it on the heel. The left foot should be on the toe then turn to the right side. Then what you’re going to do is jump it. So you’re going to keep the same heel toe but now with the opposite feet. So now your left foot which is in the back is going to be on the heel and the right foot is going to be on the toe. So jump and switch it. There you go.

Now, all you have to do is turn your body to the left side. Jump and switch it. Turn it to the right side. So basically what you have to remember is you have to always stay on your heel and your toe. Got it? Because then it’s not the Heel Toe. Heel and toe the whole time right? So I’m going to take my right foot and I’m going to put it in the front on the heel. Pick up the back foot, which is the left one and that should be on the toe. Now turn. After you turn you always jump. So you’re going to jump now. You switched it. You have one heel and one toe again. Then you’re going to turn. Next thing you do is you jump it again. So much easier once you’re bending your knees and you’re down lower. It works out so much better. Got it? All right.

So let’s try this nice and slow. We’re going to take our right foot and put it to the left side. And the right foot is on the heel. Left foot is on the toe. Then we turn. Jump. Switch. Turn. Jump. Switch. Turn. Jump. Switch. Turn. Jump. Switch. Turn. Got it? That’s your Heel Toe slow. Now what if you want to do it fast? You should do it fast. This is what it looks like. We’re going to start on this side. So, five, six, seven, eight, you go turn. Jump. Turn. Turn. Turn. Turn. Turn. Turn. Turn. That’s your Heel Toe. Notice I’m bending my knees. We want to be down low to make this work our best. He just twists to the other side. Got it? Yes? Jump. Turn. Turn. Turn. Heel Toe. That’s how you do it.

Jeff: Hey, what’s up? We’re going to show you how to do a dance that we call The Happy Feet. You’ve got to try this out. It’s pretty fun. It gets a little complicated somewhere in there, but it gets fun. Check out the feet. All right, so what’s going to happen is your right foot is going to be on the heel and you turn it out and then the left foot is going to be on the toe, and you turn that heel in.

So, basically, both heels come forward, right? So when they start back again, the right foot is on the heel and the left foot is on the toe. In your mind you’re thinking heel, toe, but this is a lot different than that. This is The Happy Feet, right?

So, you’re going to turn your right foot, it’s going to be on the heel and you turn the toe out. Then you turn the left foot, which is going to be on the toe, you turn that heel in. So both heels come forward and you have one going out and one going in. That’s what it looks like when you’re standing still. It looks like this, six, seven, eight, hit, bring it back down and then you go the other way, the complete opposite of what you did before. Go.

Now, bring it back down. Now, let’s explain the other side. So, hit it and hold it. You have your left on your heel, the left went out, the right on the toe, and that came in. Again, you have both of your heels forward. Got it? Bring it down.

Okay, so let’s go to the left again. Left is on the heel, it went out. Right is on the toe, it came in. Got it? Bring it down. So let’s go really slow, right and then left. Six, seven, eight, they go right side, stop. Then you go left side, stop. That’s what it looks like. It gets a little complicated, but we’ll do it slow one more time. Okay?

You’ll see that both of their knees are bent. So you’ve got to make sure you have bent knees throughout this. So they’re going to go right is on the heel, left was on the toe, bring it down. You come to the left side. Left is on the heel, right is on the toe, bring it down. You got it, ladies?

Unknown: Yeah.

Jeff: Want to try it slow? It looks like this, six, seven, eight, they go out, down, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom. In between they keep stopping. All right? So they’re going to go right, stop. Left, stop. Right, stop. Left, stop. When you bend your knees it’s a lot easier and it’s easier to hold your balance.

So look at their knees, watch how their knees are bent, and you have one heel, one toe. If you stay like that you’re good. Let’s try it. Let’s speed it up a little bit. Six, seven, eight, they go out, in, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, there you go. That’s Happy Feet. Got it? Let’s try it to the music. Hey, Happy Feet. Hey. Hands, do whatever you want. Have a good time. Hey. Hey.

Hey what’s up? Right now we are going to teach you guys how to do the Dougie. Yes? This is a little bit complicated. Only because there is so much to do on top, so much to do at the bottom. But, once we break it down, you’ll have it.

It’s nice and smooth with this one. We are going to start with the bottom. Your feet in the Dougie are going to do a single, single, double. This single, single, double pattern happens a lot in hip hop. So get used to it. You are going to do, step touch, step touch, double it up. Got it? Step touch, step touch, double it up. That was your single, single, double. All right, so we are going to do it again.

One, two, three, four, five, six, seven and you bring it over on eight. Then you want to do the same thing going the other way. So I’m going to go step close, step close, double it up close. That’s probably the hardest part, only because you got to keep that pattern and if you are not used to the pattern that you sometimes have single, single, double. Then it will be confusing. But, I just broke it down for you, so you got that? Easy enough?

Let’s try it. So you are going to go, step close, step close, double it up, other way, step close, step close, double it up close. That’s the bottom part of the Dougie.

The top part is going to do, single, single, double it up now. I think about the Dougie like this, like I want to show off my haircut. Right? So I think about it like this, got it? So my hand is going, show my haircut on this side and then my hand goes, to show my haircut on this side. You guys got it? Okay.

So basically, I will be going single, single, double it up, single, single, double it up. You can change it up, you can put your hands down here, you can do your hands out here. There’s a lot of different ways to do your hands, but you want to keep that single, single, double. So we’re going to do it. We’re going to add the feet and the hands all together. It looks like this, six, seven, eight. We’re going single, single, double it up, single, single, double it up. Now change up the hands however you want. Like I said before you can do it out, you can do whatever you want, it’s your preference. However you want to do. We’re going to do it again. Five, six, seven, eight, you’re going single, single, double it up. Single, single, double it up. You got it?

All right we are going to try it to the music. Try it with us. Single, double. Got it, single, single, double it up. That’s the Dougie for you. Check out your haircut. Got it? That’s how you do the Dougie.

Hey, what’s up? I’m here to teach you another hip-hop move. This is a really, really basic hip-hop move. This is actually the beginning of your learning process. When you start learning hip-hop and you start feeling like you want to learn how to dance and you want to do hip-hop dance, you should start out with this. This is going to be the basis of a lot that you do in hip-hop, because it involves using your knees and bouncing with your knees. We call this the funky walk.

This is how we do it. You put your right foot in front of you and, again, I said, it involves your knees, right? So you’re going to bounce twice. You just go, one, two. Then we switch to the other foot. Put that one in front, and you go; one, two. So, basically, all you’re doing, you’re pulling. Now, you can call this “Pull Up Your Pants”. That’s another way I say it just to help my memory; remember that, I’m going to pull. So it’s like I have on this huge big clown pants and I go like this… and I pull. Think of it like that.

So take a step in front of you, grab on to these huge big clown pants and I’m going to put my body into the pants and pull the pants up. So, I go “put on your pants”, “put on your pants”. Trust me, I say it that way a lot and it helps people remember. So, I go, “put on your pants”, “put on your pants”, other leg, “put on your pants”, “put on your pants”. Got it? Back it up. Let’s try this out. So, we’re going to go five, six, seven, eight. Bounce, bounce, and step. Bounce, bounce, and step. Bounce, bounce. You got it. Let’s to it again.

This time we’re going to do it really, really slow, because a lot of times people do this. And, we’re not doing “take of the pants” we’re doing “take off your pants”. So, you grab onto your pants and we’re just going to bounce now. That’s it. We’re just going to bounce, all right. So, we’re going to go, bounce, up, bounce, up, other leg. Take a step. You’re going to go, bounce, up, bounce, up. Think of it as you’re pulling something really heavy and as you’re pulling it, you’re body’s going down. So, there you go, pull and you stand. Do it again. Pull and you stand.

There’s a lot of bounce in this dance. The more bounce, the better it looks. Remember, this is hip-hop. So, you got to use your knees and you gotta have that bounce in it. All right, so we’re going to try this no music and no music. Five, six, seven, eight, we’re going bounce, bounce, bounce, bounce, bounce, bounce. You got it. Let’s try this out with music. You ready for the music? All right, let’s try this. All right, so, funky walk with the music. We’re going to do it really slow. Like this, we go. Bounce, bounce, other leg… there you go. That’s the funky walk. Let’s speed it up. You ready? Five, six, seven, eight. Hey, there you go. Funky walk. Funky walk. Come on. Hey, hey, hey, hey. That’s the funky walk. We’re going to do it one more time for you, like this, come on. Bounce, bounce. Take it back, let’s go.

Hey, what’s up? This is Jeff Cowans. I’m here with my boy Eric, and we’re going to show you how to do a freeze. We’re down low, because a freeze is done on the floor. There are many different freezes you could do. You have baby freeze, chair freeze, and so many different freezes. We’re going to show you a baby freeze right now. It’s a little complicated, so you might want to listen close. Let’s do it, come on.

Now, you’re going to start off with your right foot up like this, and your left foot is going to be further back. He’s going to stay like that so you see what it looks like from the front, and then from the side, it looks like this. Your knee is off the floor, and you’re up like this. As you can see, my heel is off the floor, I got to be up. In breaking, most of the time, you’re going to have to be able to hold yourself like this. With the freeze, it’s no different. I’m like this.

All right, up. I’m going to take my left elbow, and I’m going to put it onto my right knee. My arm is out straight. You see the straight line here, my hand is straight. I took my right elbow and I put it right here, on the side of my butt cheeks. It is what it is. Hands out, you put it on the floor. What you want to do is, you want to hold your body with your arms. I’m going to go slowly over. Now from here, you can see that my arms are not bending. They should be straight up and down.

Now, you want to lean over and keep your arms straight up and down, and then you get this. Here’s your baby freeze. Your legs can do a lot of different things. They can switch, they could go back, and they can go up, but you’re going to keep them down to where they were here for the baby freeze. The beginning of the freeze is the easy part. Changing the legs, it gets a little hard, but you want to just keep it basic at the beginning.

So again, you’re in this position. You should be able to hold yourself up. You good? All right, because your right leg is the one that’s straight up and down. Take your other elbow, your right elbow, and it goes on the back near your buttocks. Now, they have to be straight across. If they move, once they hit the floor, your body will slip and fall off. They’re going to be straight up and down. Flat hands, and then you’re going to lean into it. There you go.

Now, you don’t want this. You don’t want your neck bent like this, so you’re going to keep it up, got it? There you go, there’s your freeze. We’ll try it again for you. Hands out to the side. You want to try to hear the accent in the music. Right now we’re just going to make this pose for you so you can see it. Here’s your baby freeze. You go up, and you can change it up and switch it at any time you want. Hey, hey, hey. There you go, baby freeze, try it out.

Hey, what’s up? I’m Jeff Collins. And now, I’m going to teach you guys how to do the cat daddy. You might have seen it before in a Rej3ctz video also featuring Chris Brown. He’s doing it, so now you want to do it. We’re going to show you how to do it. This is what you do. Take your right arm, put it across your body. Got it? I throw my right arm, and you see I lean my body? I just do it to add my own little…you know, my little flavor, whatever. You guys can add your own.

So I’m going to go right arm here, and then left arm. After that I’m going to make two circles. So I go circle, circle — circles are on the side of my body. Kind of makes you think of a wheelchair or something. So that’s what you’re going to do. You’re going to go circle, circle. Got it? Let’s do it. I go right, left, circle, circle. Pretty simple. You have to add a dip in there. So we’re going to do one small one and then a big one.

So it looks like this. Right, left, circle, circle. Got it? I’m going to do it again. You’re going to go right, left, circle, circle. Let’s try it to the other side. Again, I go right, left, circle, circle. Yeah? Right, left, circle, circle. Right, left, circle, circle. Right, left, circle, circle. Got it? Let’s try it. We’re going to slow it down a little bit, one more time. And then we can try it to the music.

So you’re going to go right arm, left arm, do your circle, do your circle. Go right arm, left arm, do your circle, do your circle. We good? You good? Let’s try it. A little bit faster. Six, seven, eight. You’re going right, left, circle, circle. Right, left. You got it? Come on. Right, left. Yes? All right, now.

You don’t always have to go, right, left. You can sometimes do it at the same time when you switch it up. But that’s on you. So you can just go, boom, and hit it. Yeah? Boom, and hit it. Boom, and hit it. Switch it up; do it however you like it. But we’re going to do it first that way with the music. You guys ready to try it out?

We are. Let’s do it.

Now, see how he’s doing it? You can switch it up and do it however you like. You can do the…and just switch it up. Got it? Now, go out to a party and try it. That’s the cat daddy. Yeah?
