This pattern we’re going to start with one, two, three tap, on the five we’re going to slide open, five, six, seven, prep for the ladies. The ladies are going to turn on one, two, three tap, gentlemen you’re going to turn on five, six, seven scoop the ladies up and one, two, three, and up for the slide. Let’s try it nice and slow. Five, six, seven and one, two, three tap, open position, prep, one, two, three tap, five, six, seven and one, two, three tap, slide six, seven tap.
Now let’s break it down. So the first thing gentlemen is to lead your partner to the left and one, two, three tap. Here we’re going to open up, five, six and seven. Nice little circle around the ladies head, one, two, three tap. Here we’re going to turn as we switch hands five, six, seven and scoop the ladies up into one, two, three, cue the ladies light and five, six, seven tap. Let’s try it a little bit faster. Five, six, seven tap, one, two, three tap; five, six, seven tap; one, two, three tap; five, six, seven tap; one, two, three tap; and slide six, seven tap. Now let’s try it from the other side.
Daniela: Five, six, seven and one, two, three; gentleman slides out, turn for the ladies. Basic for the ladies gentleman turns basic and slide.
Edwin: Now let’s try with some music. So gentlemen, make sure you’re leading your partner into every single moment. Here we lead them into the turn. We give ourselves a turn, scoop the ladies up and here we lead them again by prepping and then sliding. And now from the other side. Six, seven tap and that is your modern style basic.
