How to shimmy in Burlesque.
Shimmy, you’re going to use a lot of your shoulders and your body so tassels and fringe is a great costume for Shimmy. When we shimmy we’re going to use our shoulders like this, so you use your upper body, Shimmy, and then your lower body using your hips. When you put it together you have your whole body.
There’s different ways you do it, you could isolate, you could use your upper body to shimmy or your lower and you can even use your tush. So it’s up to you or, you could start low, shimmy, shimmy, shimmy, shimmy up to the top or, come down with it. So shimmy is like, you just loosen up, loosen your body and it’s a lot of fun, loosen up your hips, your chest, and just come up and down. Again, you’re just going to open up your body, loosen up your chest, and Shimmy. And that is how you do a Burlesque
