How to do a hat and tie dance in burlesque. I have a jazz tape and I’ll demonstrate a little routine using your hat and your tie. So we’re first going to start slowly and taking off our tie. So 8 counts. So 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8.
Good, so now your tie is off now we’re going to use that tie, we’re going to have it around us and we’re going to shimmy. A 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 back around your neck. Good now I’m going to use a hat going up and down 4 time. A 1, a 2, a 3, a 4. Good, and we’re going to just slowly work our hands back down to release from the hat. Good, after that we’re going to finish off with our tie, taking it with our right hand and we’re just going to twirl it around 4 times.
A 1, 2, 3, 4 and that’s it. So, going from the beginning you have your tie on, you’re going to take it off 8 counts, you’re going to use that tie and shimmy with it for 8 counts. After that, you’re going to use your hat and you’re going to go up and down 1, a 2, a 3, a 4. Very good, after that you’re going to just slowly milk it down away from the hat, then taking your tie and finishing off with 4 spins. 1, 2, 3, 4. Good, now I’m going to do it a little faster for you from the beginning. Here we go. A 5, 6, 7, 8. A 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. A 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. A 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8.
