Hello, my name is Jorday Rivera, and I am an expert in salsa. I own two dance studios in Queens, New York. We’re going to be learning a progression of salsa moves so we can actually go out, practice, take it to the clubs, take it to a party, and you can show off all the great moves you learned. This is called She Goes He Goes’, the partner variation of it. So I’m going to start with the basic and I’m going to do it with music. Now, it’s the same thing as the right turn that we learnt in the previous segments. This time we’re just putting it together in a partner-work version. So what we’re going to do is start with the basic except that we’re going to be connected, okay. When it connects, right hand up, make sure that the male, okay, has you in the center, the small of your back and we ladies, make sure your hands are on top of his shoulder. So we’ll start with the basic. Basic and one, two, three, five, six, seven. Once we hit the seven’ here, we’re doing a right turn, okay, so the man can continue to do the basic. So we’re going to go and- One, two, three, five, six, seven; he’s turning-one, two, three; now I go he goes. Basics to three, five, six, seven. One, two, three, she goes-that’s me. One, two, three- he goes, I go. Five, six, seven; there he goes. We cover one more time. One, two, three, five, six, seven; she goes, he goes, she goes, he goes. Basic two, three, five. One more time- one, two, three; she goes, he goes. Basic two, three, five, six, seven. And that’s she goes, he goes in a partner connected version.
