Aaron: And we’re coming at you today from Dance Times Square, here in New York City. Today, we’re going to be talking about the cha-cha chase step. On our left leg, we’re going to be starting with our basic action to the side, one, two, three. And what we’re going to be doing here guys is replacing our basic side action with a running step forward. Run, run, run, rock, step, run, run, run, reversing it, two, three, cha-cha one, two, three, cha-cha one, two, three. Okay, so now let’s talk about how we are going to dance that with a partner.
Christina: For the ladies, we are going to start going side right, while the gentlemen start going side left.
Aaron: And one, two, three, lowering the handhold, changing to a two-hand hold, run, run, run, two, three, run, run, run, two, three. Or a no handhold, one, two, three. Leaving way for a little bit of interpretive arm styling two, three and just whatever feels good. One, two, three, cha-cha one.
Christina: And that is how you do the cha-cha chase step.
Aaron: Five, six, seven, eight, to one, two, three, cha-cha one, two, three, cha-cha one, two, three, four and one, two, three, cha-cha one, two, three.
