Aaron: Hi guys, I’m Aaron.
Christina: And I’m Christina.
Aaron: And we’re here from Dance Times Square here in New York City today, to talk about a dance called the cha-cha. So today we’re going to be starting talking about how we count the cha-cha, and what we’re going to do is, we’re going to start on count one, which is our strongest beat in the cha-cha, and we’re going to count this out together.
It’s going to start on one, two, three, four and one, two, three, cha-cha one. Now we’re going to take that and we’re going to do that in place. So get up and join us from home, and we’re going to start this together. We’re all going to start together on our left foot marching in place, on count one two, three, four and one, two, three cha-cha, one, two, three, four and one. And that’s how you count the cha-cha.
Christina: All right guys, so now we’re going to try this with some music. I’m going to count in five, six, seven, eight, and then we’ll start with our left foot, on the one marching in place. Ready? Five six, seven, eight; one, two, three, four and one, two, three, four and one, two, three, four and one. And that’s how you count the cha-cha.
