The next trick I’m teaching you guys, it’s called Rock the Baby. This is one of the most iconic tricks when it comes to yo-yoing. To start off with Rock the Baby, you have to have a really good, strong sleeper. With the yo-uo sleeping, you want to grab the string with your non-throw hand, a third of the way down. Come down with your right hand; grab the string, right above the yo-yo.
You want to bring your left hand down and open the string up, with your thumb, forming the triangle, like so. And then you can rock the yo-yo within the triangle.
With the yo-yo sleeping, you want to grab the string with your non-throw hand, about third of the way down, come down with your throw hand and grab the string right above the yo-yo. With your non-throw hand, open up the string with your thumb, bring it down and you’re forming the baby with the yo-yo.
There’s also different variations you can do with Rock The Baby. This trick is called, The Dizzy Baby. And that’s Rocking the Baby.
