This is an introduction to krump dancing. Are you guys ready? ‘Cause I know I am, here we go.
What is the Demolition Krew? The Demolition Krew is like Justice League. Marvel. Energy. Superheroes. Superman. Batman. Spiderman. The Hulk. Something that’s just intense–a lot of power that you have to bring in. So what are you doing? You’re moving your body, you’re shifting, your character has to build, you have to be able to generate the energy of a character that’s a superhero. So you have Demolition Krew, DC’s. It’s all about changing from human form into superhero-form. Let’s enjoy it, so I’m going to tell you about myself.
What I do is I like to go into like a Superman, kind of caped-crusade energy. Spiderman kind of fluid, I like to get low, like to show ’em where I’m going to go with it. Kind of just a villain-ish kind of way, how am I gonna get my opponent in the movement I need to be in. Also Batman, getting the arms back, showing the cape, bringing my arm over, showing different movements. Got to get intense, you have to show the power, that’s what Demolition Krew’s all about. Building, destroying, building back up, showing it again.
