How to Make the “Time Shot Bank” Pool Trick Shot

Transcript

Hi, I’m Andy “the Magic Man” Segal. I’m here at Willow Billiards in Hoboken, New Jersey. Doing some trick shots with full instructions. So if you’re ready, let’s get started. Alright, so in a game of eight ball, you have a cue ball frozen to the rail right at the third diamond. Eight ball frozen to the rail and a cue ball right in front of it. Now normally this would be an easy shot to shoot the eight ball straight into the corner but, there’s another ball blocking the shot. So what I’m gonna do is I’m gonna shoot the cue ball this way into the cushion, come back here. As I do that the eight ball’s gonna trickle up, be in front of the side pocket. The cue ball will then make the gate. Now the way you shoot this shot is I’m gonna shoot it with a little bit of right hand, excuse me, left hand english, um, if you’re shooting from the other side it would be right hand. And I’m gonna aim my cue stick just past the pocket point right there. And then of course based on the table you may have to adjust left or right.
