“Hi, I’m Andy ‘The Magic Man’ Segal. I’m here at Willow Billiards in Hoboken, New Jersey doing some trick shots and pool instruction. So if you’re ready, let’s get started.
This is called the ‘be still shot’. You have the three ball, the cue ball and the five ball all frozen, lined up on the short rail and the one ball in the middle. The idea is to make the one ball in the corner, the five ball down here, and the three ball goes across the table into the corner pocket. And, the other thing is that the cue ball will not move from this spot so we’re going to put a chalk up here to show that the cue ball will not move, the chalk will not fall off the cue ball. Now, nobody believes that you can actually do that until they see that you’re actually going to be hitting the one ball. “
