How to Make the “Speed Double Jump” Pool Trick Shot

Transcript

“Hi. I’m Andy “”The Magic Man”” Segal. I’m here at Willow Billiard in Hoboken, New Jersey doing some trick shots and pool instruction. So if you’re ready, let’s get started.

All right, this shot was actually invented by a friend of mine. His name is Steve Markle, and he’s probably the youngest trick shot competitor out there on the pro tour. The shot here is, I have six balls lined up on the first diamond. The cue ball’s on the first diamond, even with this diamond here, and we have two racks with the little bit of weight expanding the corner pocket. The idea is to shoot the cue ball into the corner pocket. Before it gets there, I have to jump all six of these balls in there, but I have to jump them two at a time. So I’m going to actually perform three jump shots, holding two cues like this. So I have my jump cues. I have these cues stuck between my fingers, and I’m going to be jumping them like this, hitting the cue ball first.

Something like that.
