I want to give you a few exercises for practicing pentatonics. You can start pentatonic scales not only on the roots but also on every note of the scale. And this will help you get more fluid and get more familiar with the pentatonics. I’ll give you two examples of how to practice it. First is by just starting at the pentatonics scale on every note of the scale as you go up and then down. The second is just by skipping notes on the pentatonic scaleas you go up and then down. And those are two examples of how you can become more familiar with the pentatonic scale.
