The song is relatively easy if you break it down to just one, two, three, four primary chords: those chords being, G Major, C Major, D Major, and e minor. You can make it even easier on yourself if you play only the roots of those chords. In our left hand we’re going to play the G on our 5 or pinky finger. Then we’re going to play the C with our third, middle finger, the D with our second, index finger and the e minor with our thumb or number one finger. And that lays down ladies and gentleman like this, so we have G, C, D and e minor. When we go ahead and get to the C, you can just play an individual C, but while I’m there, I like to have a little fun getting to the next chord which is our G Major. So I added a bit of a turn – it’s just rocking back and forth between the C and the B and then an A leading into our G note. So that looks like this.
