I would like to show you the flamenco version of tremolo, which is similar to the classical style, but it adds in an extra note. Now the classical tremolo has a grouping of four notes, because I was using my thumb, ring, middle, index fingers. With the flamenco version you’re grouping five notes, so you’re playing five notes for every beat. And, how you get that extra note is we go thumb, index, then ring finger, middle, index. So it works out to five. One, two, three, four, five. One, two, three, four, five. One, two, three, four, five. One, two, three, four, five. Or, if you prefer, you can count one two, one two three, one two, one two three. I like that better actually. One two, one two three. One two, one two three. One two, one two three.
