Hi. I’m Dan Garcia. I’m going to show you how to play alzapua along with a golpe. I warn you that golpe is a technique that you have to be ready to use with any other kind of technique you’re going to play on the guitar. In this case we’re going to throw a golpe alongside the alzapua. This is how you do it. The golpe with alzapua usually comes on the second thumb strike. So you can play your thumb once, and then when your thumb goes down you do your golpe. So when your thumb goes down the second time it’s kind of a snapping motion of the hand, so have fun practicing the alzapua with golpe.
