OK let’s talk about G7. You know G7 we’ve played as an open chord, but you can also make that as a barre chord. And how you do that is you take an E7 shape, switch it around so you have your first finger free, and in this case we’re going to move it to the 3rd fret. And now we’ve made G7 as a barre chord. Then we can also take A7, right, and switch that around a little bit so that I can get the barre involved. And I’m going to take that all the way to the 10th fret. SO here we are, I have my barre at the 10th, what looks like an A7 chord, but now it’s G7. G7 as a barre chord.
