Okay, next is E7. E7 is already an open chord and we’ve been using it to make other shapes, but it’s still possible to make this into a bar chord. So I take E7, switch around my fingers so I have my first finger free, move that all the way up to the twelfth fret, that’s where the guitar starts again. So here we are, E7. [strums guitar] And then I can take A7, switch that around so I have my first finger free, and move that up to the seventh fret, that’s where E is on the first string. And here we are, here’s the bar at the seventh, an A7 shape. [strums guitar] E7 as a barre chord.
