My name is Mike Peverill. I’m here at Pev’s Paintball Park in Aldie, Virginia — Loudoun County, just outside of Washington DC. I’ve been playing paintball for nearly 30 years, I’ve played professional paintball with numerous pro teams all over the world. I’ve traveled the world to play paintball, worked in the paintball industry. I’ve been in the retail industry, the field industry, the park industry. I sit on numerous boards as advisers to the industry. So, I’ve been doing this a long time and I’m very familiar with everything in paintball. I’ve seen it grow from absolutely nothing to boom to what it is today an amazing sport that everyone of all ages and genders can play. This facility here was built from the ground up for paintball as a destination park, kind of like paintball Disney Land. We have a little bit of everything here. We have forts, we have towns, we have villages, we have logs, man made caves and artificial rocks. We have tournament fields for holding national events, we have the national professional paintball league here every year hosting an event. So, this park was built in mind for a little bit of everything to cater for paintball. We’re a unique park, one of only like 3 parks in the United States built like this from the ground up for paintball. This facility has also been featured in the Xbox game for paintball. It was one of the 12 parks in the world chosen for a paintball video game, as well as my character who’s in both games for Xbox, PS3 and the Wii game.
