Instructions
- Step 1: Cream ingredients Cream the butter, peanut butter, and both sugars in the bowl of an electric mixer using a paddle attachment. Mix until it’s light and fluffy.
- Step 2: Add Add the vanilla extract and egg to the butter mixture. Mix on medium speed until everything’s combined.
- Step 3: Sift Sift the flour and baking soda into a mixing bowl, and then add it to the butter mixture. Mix until well blended.
- Step 4: Preheat oven Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Step 5: Scoop dough Form 2-tablespoon balls on the parchment-lined baking sheet about 3 inches apart.
- Step 6: Use fork Use a fork to press down the dough, making a criss-cross pattern. Sprinkle the crushed peanuts on top of the cookies.
- TIP: Dip the fork in warm water to prevent sticking.
- Step 7: Bake Bake the cookies for 18 to 20 minutes, or until they’re golden brown. Then transfer to a rack to cool.
