How to Make a Fondant Pig

Transcript

Now I’m gonna show you how to make a cute little pig.

I’m gonna take some pink fondant, which you can find premade or you can make it yourself with some pink food coloring. I’m going to roll it into a ball, almost golf ball size. Maybe a little bit smaller and place it on my mat. And make it a little bit more oval size.

Now I’m gonna take more pink fondant and I’m gonna make his head. Put that in some cornstarch just so it’s not too sticky, easy to handle. Gonna roll it into a ball and then just place it down. And now I’m going to pinch the top of his head to make little ears. Just pinch, bring it out a little bit so he has his little ears. And then what I’m going to do is take another little piece of some pink fondant. I’m going to roll that into a ball and then I’m gonna flatten it just a little bit. And then I’m going to take that piece and I’m gonna make his little oink-oink nose.

So we’re gonna take it, we’re gonna put some water and I’m gonna place it on his face. I’m gonna take a pointed tool and just make his little nostrils. And then we’re going to place that aside. Gonna take his body again, make his little feet. And they’re just, take a little piece of pink fondant. Roll them into little balls. Take some more. And just roll them into some balls. And then you’re going to use your water as your glue and attach his feet at the four corners.

I’m gonna take and then just flatten it a little bit. And do that to each side, just flatten it a little bit. And these cute little piggy feet. And then we’re gonna take a cutting tool and then just make little lines into his feet to each foot.

And then we’re gonna take his head back and take some water, attach it at the top and then place his head there.

And that’s how you make a cute little pig for your little farm animal cake.
