So now I’m gonna show you how to make daisy’s. Daisy’s can be used on baby shower cakes or birthday cakes or any other type of occasion cake.
I’m going to take some yellow fondant and roll it in some corn starch and I’m going to take our rolling pin and start rolling it. Dip it in some more corn starch so it doesn’t stick to your mat. I’m just gonna roll it, not too thin and not too thick.
Once you have it rolled out you’re gonna take your daisy cutter that you can find in a craft store or a cake supply store. You’re just gonna put it on your fondant and press down and wiggle it a little so you know that it caught every edge of the leaf part and then you just want to take it, pick it up, be very careful and just set it aside.
And we’ll do another one. Again, if it stays in the cutter and doesn’t come out you could just take a small tool and just push each edge out. Then just lay it flat and then you can take some pearls with your glue, your water.
Add some water to the middle and just place your white pearl or pink pearl or yellow pearl, any type of pearl to it. And then when they’re dry or even when they’re wet you can add them to your special occasion cake.
