How to Juggle Liqour Bottles

Transcript

Hi. I’m Chris Cardone. I’m from the Flair Bartender’s Association. I’m the northeast United States representative, and today I’m going to teach you how to juggle some liquor bottles.

Now the beginning of juggling involves learning how to just do a simple two-rotation bottle toss. So we’re going to take our bottle, and you’re going to throw it in the air for two rotations. It has to be two, otherwise you don’t have a lot of time to do the juggle. Some people are able to do a one bottle juggle rotation, but then find it to be extremely difficult starting out. I think you’re much better off doing a two-rotation.

So you take your bottle in whichever hand, throw it in the air for two rotations, and you catch it in your other hand. Then we’re going to add number two.

The second bottle becomes now an exchange. So we’re going to take our bottle in our right hand and our bottle in our left hand. We’re going to throw the first bottle up and the second bottle goes on the inside track of the other bottle. As this bottle hits it’s apex and starts to fall, this bottle comes up and you switch hands. So it looks something like this.

Bottle one goes up. Bottle two goes up, and you switch hands.

You should be able to do this both hands. So right hand first, and then left hand first.

Once you get comfortable with that, you add the third bottle. Now really, all juggling is, is an exchange that doesn’t stop. So this bottle will go first. This bottle will go second. This bottle will go third, and we’ll just keep rotating through. And all it is, is just doing an exchange without stopping. So it looks like this.

And that is how you do a three bottle juggle.
