How to Grill Strip Steak

Instructions

  • Step 1: Mix Mix the peppercorns, dill seeds, red pepper flakes, coriander seeds, and salt in a small bowl.
  • Step 2: Rub on steaks Rub the spice mixture on both sides of the steaks.
  • TIP: Extra rub mixture can be kept in an airtight container for later use.
  • Step 3: Prepare grill Preheat a gas grill to medium-high heat or cover a charcoal grill until it’s about 500 degrees. Oil the grate to create a nonstick surface.
  • Step 4: Grill Grill the steaks until they’re cooked to medium-rare, about eight minutes on each side.
  • Step 5: Transfer to platter Transfer to a platter, cover with foil, and let sit for 10 minutes before serving.
