Today we’re going to talk about how to disassemble and then reassemble the Remington 700 sniper rifle.
First thing you want to do before disassembling the weapon is to make sure the weapon is empty. With this gun you want to bring the bolt up and back. Visually inspect it to make sure there’s no rounds in it. You can also press the little button here on the trigger guard which releases the magazine, now you can be fully sure that there’s no bullets left in the gun.
To remove the bolt which is the complete dis-assembly of the weapon, you want to press here inside the trigger guard and as you’re pressing that just pull the bolt right out.
The bolt comes out for easy cleaning. Now the weapon is fully disassembled. You can clean the gun real easy now.
And to reassemble the gun all you have to do is take the bolt and put it back in. It will only fit one way.
Once the bolt’s lined up just slide it forward and lock it down.
From here to reinsert the magazine, just compress the spring and snap it forward.
The gun is fully assembled and ready to shoot.
