Today we’re going to talk about how to disassemble the AK-47 Assault Rifle.
The first thing you want to do before disassembling the rifle is to make sure the rifle is safe and empty. So you want to remove the magazine from the weapon. Place that down. Then you’re going to bring the action back and visually check the gun. Make sure there’s no rounds left in the chamber, in the barrel, anywhere.
Once you do that, to remove the top of the gun there’s a little button here at the back. You’re going to press it in and the top just pops right off.
From here you have a spring that you push forward and release. Then it comes out. Then you bring your bolt back and remove it from the gun.
From here you can remove the firing pin from the bolt.
