Hi, I’m Mike Patrick and this is how to do a tabled riffle shuffle. This is the type of shuffle that they do in casinos. It looks like this. You take the cards, give them a shuffle, and push them flush.
First you cut off half of the cards and you place them to the side of the other packet, and your thumbs go to the back. So your fingers are up front front, your index fingers are curled on top, and your thumbs are going to do this action. So what you do is you simply place them next to each other, allow the two packets to go into each other so it should look like an upside-down V from your perspective, and then you bring them together like so. Just simply press on the edges and you can make the cards go into each other like this. Looks very professional. You can do this many times.
It’s easier if you don’t do this on a surface that’s like glass because it’s very difficult to pick cards up in this kind of squaring action. But if you have a nice surface to shuffle on, this is one of the nicest shuffles you can do. That’s a tabled riffle shuffle. I’m Mike Patrick.
